My husband is my life partener and my best friend. He is a person I know I can count on for support and for love. I have a diffrent best friend that I turn to for female advice because she is female. But when I need the support that only my husband can provide he is the one I turn to.

well my husband is my partner,so he will be with me in all i go through...I consider a best friend is someone you can tell everything too,and they accept you for it...I don't see my husband like i do a best friend, because i cannot tell him everything that is on my mind all the time..I think women sometimes need to talk to another woman and share their thoughts...I consider my husband my lifes partner that is true ,but you cannot tell your husband some things cause they do not share your same interest..and a lot of times they are not interested..I save my thought for my woman friends that understands women things....but when it comes to making lifes choices then yes my husband is who I talk these things over with..

Yes my husband is indeed my best friend. He is the first one I go to for advice - I don't necessarily take it, but I value his opinion. I share my problems and thoughts with him and he does likewise. I think this is what marriage should be all about. Being friends and companions and being able to communicate openly and honestly with each other.

My partner is my best friend as we are able to listen to her or mine problems without even speaking them . We talk for hours on any topic and love to act like girlfriend and boyfriend still. Nobody can judge we are a married couple if we move out.

I do. My husband is my best friend. Mostly because we started out as friends. His sister was my best friend and we all hung out together. Before I knew it we were more than friends. It just kind of worked out that way. This is the best marriage in the world for me. My first marriage was useless. We loved each other as much as you could at 20 years old, but you tend to keep certain things to yourself, and put on a show to try to keep the marriage together. Now I don't have to do that. He knows EVERYTHING about me so I don't have to put on a show. I understand his point of view to a point that we will go to strip clubs together and compete on how many lap dances we end up getting. We are not swingers mind you, but I know how to hang with the guys which I think helps us alot and he understands that there are certain female things that I need to do. A best friend as a spouse is the best thing in the world.

I certainly would consider my partner my closest friend. We've been married nearly 11 years, and I think that because we're friends as well as lovers and partners, we are much happier than many couples. I think if you have a good solid friendship there to base the relationship on, then you have much more to work with if you ever do have problems too!
