Let me pose a couple of questions..... How do you know you are going to heaven? What does it mean to be a Christian? How do you know you are a Christian?

A Christian is someone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who has repented of their sins and change their lives to follow Jesus. Being a Christian is the best life! It's not the easiest life, but it is the happiest and most fulfilling life. I know that I will go to Heaven because of what Christ has done for me on the cross. He bore all my sins and washed me clean! I have accepted His awesome Gift of Salvation and because of the wonderful thing HE has done, I know I am saved. I do not deserve it, but He loves me that much! God bless!

a christian is someone who believes and attempts to follow his teachings !we are none of us perfect but we are forgiven and because of this forgiveness we can be assured of entrance into heaven!

Thank you for your response. How do we know we are forgiven? Do we have to do something in order to receive this forgiveness?

To be forgiven, you to have to respond with acceptance to the gift that was given for you on the cross. It will follow then that you will feel contrite for your sins, and wish to no longer be separated from God through sin.

you must believe , not to ask questions , this is what religion means , if you have faith , you can prove nothing what is bound to religion , only god nows if there is heave or hell , but i want to believe that it is, because i don't want to think that after i die i will be gone forever .

Thank you for your response. The reason I posed these questions was not really for my benefit, but in the hopes that someone who really doesn't know, would be lead here by God and could see the discussion and maybe obtain some answers. I am a born-again believer, and was trying to make my questions pretty elementary in order to help the lost.
