OK. This may sound silly but I just would love to know who else here on mylot have glow in the dark stuffs like stars, moons, skulls, skeletons, and all those stuffs on their bedroom ceiling...:P well, I for one have these glow in the dark stars and moons, I have like 8 half-moons and about 30 stars of different sizes.. lol I just love it when I lay on my bed before going to sleep and it seems like am looking up in the sky with my stars and moons...:P and it could also illuminate my room a bit coz I don't like sleeping in a totally dark room. but my friend is a bit different though coz what he has in his room is a glow in the dark skull and a human skeleton hanged in some corners of his room... he said he find them cute..:P how about you, do you have these glow in the dark stuffs in your bedroom? please share your thoughts:P

Even at my age, I don't think they are silly. As my grandchildren would say, "Wow, they are so cool". I buy them for my grandchildren and whenever, I go to stay with them, I always sleep in their bedroom with all the glow in the dark monsters. I think there rather cute and I wish they had been available when I was growing up.

I used to!! in my old house, I actually had glow in the dark moons and stars on my ceiling just like your picture. I forgot all about them, and sold the house and left them there! I never thought to take them down. I hope the new owner likes them.

My best friends daughter did that and I liked it so much I had to copy! I had them where I use to live but did not get them when I moved. I had 4 sets two like yours and 2 like the ones in the above post. I loved them. I had them on the walls as well as the ceiling. I also had some paper stickers that I used. They were glow in the dark and I stuck them on the TV and picture frames and other things. I still have those and they stopped glowing as bright. I think I will get some more to put up here. I really did like them.

I don.t have any in my bedroom but I have seen them many times in the kids rooms.I have grandchildren that like that ..they have stars and moons but not sheletons & skulls, that would probably scare them....I know a lot of people do like them for myself,I use a night light because I do not like total darkness either...

my ceiling feels like a galaxy :P - glow in the dark
Yes, I do have quite a few glow in the dark thingies in my bedroom. Some of them are moons in different phases, stars of different sizes, and some planets..lol feels like am looking at the galaxy when am lying on my bed before going to sleep..and I like the feeling..I mean, sometimes I think that am outside the house, lying on the ground and staring up the sky counting the stars.. lol they really make my ceiling galaxy like...:P

I used to have the stars stuck all over my ceiling and at the tops of some of my walls - I found the effect magical as a child. I think I'm a bit too old for them now though lol

I used to want those things. In fact I bought some but somehow, maybe the quality is not good enough so the glow doesn't really stay. I gave up in the end. I didn't stick them on my ceiling as I prefer total darkness when I sleep. Any light source is distracting for me. Either way, sticking those glow-in-the-dark thingies would not make sense for me. :P

I don't have these kind of things in my room, but i desperately wanna buy some.Because I really think ty are cute.I have also painted my ceilling:it has 100 blue stars,of different shapes, and they do look good. But I couldn't find some that would glow in the dark...Skeletons would be funny, too, since I listen to a lot of rock music, too. So,there you Have it:You are not the only one that likes this kind of stuff...

I have a comet shaped clump of stars on my ceiling that were all given to me by my other half when we had first started being together years ago. When we began going out he had bought some of these glow in the dark stars to put on his ceiling for the next time I ended up visiting him. He was living in another area of the city and during that time I was always taking a cab there and back whenever I could. I remember those days as some of the most fun we have ever had. There was always something new and different to do. Anyways, the reason that he had bought those stars was a pretty big one. I remember one time I came over to his place and we had decided this night was going to be all about revisiting our childhood. It was like we had figured out a theme to go with every time we got together. We took a walk up to a school nearby his house and we were going to be kids again and play on the playground like we had never grown up. It was quite a fun time and we both ended up kind of out of breath afterwards. He decided after that to take me to the top of a hill nearby the playground we were at. It was just our luck that the stars were out in all their glory. The sky was crystal clear and you could see more than just stars you could also see a lot of the planets that are out there. I actually ended up seeing something else that I had previously never seen before. There was a strong band of the "Aurora Borealis" in the sky at the time. It was an effect caused when a flare of solar radiation hits the magnetic field around the earth. The effect causes changes in the coloration of certain areas of the sky. It was like the sky had a green glow to it and it was dancing around all over. It was absolutely beautiful. My other half went out the following day after I had gone home and bought some glow in the dark stars. The next weekend I ended up coming over to visit him again he surprised me by turning off the lights in his bedroom to reveal what looked like the sky we had stared up at in amazement. There were all kinds of different sized stars and to me it was gorgeous. He handed me a plastic bag that night which contained a good assortment of stars for me to go ahead and use. I decorated the ceiling in my room more like a comet but it still holds a deeper meaning to me. I never figured glow in the dark stars would hold a special place in my heart. There was just something about that whole evening spent with my other half that made those glow in the dark stars mean so much more to me. I liked how if you want to see them again after they have faded, all you have to do is turn the light on in the room for a short period of time. I love going to sleep and seeing them every night. In conclusion, I feel that putting up those glow in the dark stars remind me of some of the fun and crazy things me and my other half have done over the course of our relationship. I love being able to look at them and get taken away to visit a great memory that both of us created together. I hope to add even more glow in the dark stars to our ceiling someday soon. As I would love for the whole ceiling to be filled with them. I also would like more glow in the dark items for mine & my other half's bedroom. I think they look really neat when the lights are turned out! . . Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

You must be a very romantic person to hang all those moons and stars in the ceiling. Anyway i don't have anything like that in my room i find it scary lolzzzz specially your friend who has a skull and says it cute. I am afraid of the dark so i have a dim red bulb on the ceiling.
