Once, where I worked, I was asked to hire someone for a position within our company and I placed an ad on Monster.com. Within ONE HOUR after the post, over 500 resumes had come in and over 250 were not qualified. Now, I find myself in the same position. I was laid off from my company about 5 days ago and I'm looking for a job. Looking for a job locally on-line seems to be the least effective way to do it, but it could be that I don't know the right places to look. (I DON'T want a Temp Service.) Can anyone out there offer suggestions on a successful job search on-line or otherwise?
