300 --- an amazing movie

The movie really gives a stunning, awesome, incredible impact to us, the viewers. I watched 300 in the theater last Sunday and I loved it! The images are consistently breath-taking, the sound is staggeringly good and note-perfect throughout, and Gerard Butler played a really great role together with the other characters. The battle scenes were incredibly beautifully choreographed. But sad though coz King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and his eldest son died in the end with only one warrior left alive.:((
I hope there'd be a part two for that movie, coz I wanted Sparta to win..:P
how about you, how do you find the movie? Do you think there'd be a part two for that?

AS soon i saw the 8.4 rating om IMBd i went to the cinemas to watch it.
I agree with you it was an awesome movie.
i wont spoil anything,but i liked the end of the movie,i hope there's a second part.

It is the trend of the times that movies are packaged at least in trilogies. So watch out for more to come, decimus.

Wow, so the movie is really good?
I wanted to catch it last friday. But there was a sudden downpour and I missed the bus... I got to the theatre too late and so I had to give it a miss.
Hmm.. looks like I really need to catch it then. But hey, you gave the ending away!! :P

opppsss sorry if i spoiled your excitement coz of giving away the ending... but yeah, the movie was indeed great and am looking forward for a sequel of that one. Hope Snyder would create one. :P
Don't worry lordwarwiz, there are still a lot of great scenes in the movie worth watching. :P

Man...what else can i say about this movie than ITS THE BEST MOVIE IN 2007!!! The director gave this genre a new breath and a new look about ancient patriotism and he sure did it in style!Salutation to Gerald Butler and his fellow "spartan" soldiers!Great sword fighting choreography, sure look cooler than some kung fu move, couldn't close my jaw since the fighting scene started! I never been so excited about watching a movie since "Ju-On". Sure gonna watch it again soon...

I haven't seen this movie and am planning to this weekend. It is playing here at the IMAX theater so it will be a thrilling experience. I saw the actual story of 300 on History Channel a couple of days back. I must say it is a very interesting part of history, I'm sure I will enjoy the movie. Thanks for the feedback rogen, now I'm sure I want to see it..hehe!

Hi rogen.I believe it was you last week asking about that.I only told you what i had heard about the movie that eveyone was saying how great it was,and you were wanting to see it...Im glad that i did not lead you wrong and that you really liked the movie..i am glad you got to see it...If its s great movie,don't worry they will have another one to continue this one Im sure,they always do with great movies...

I thought this movie was simply spectacular I mean there was nothing in the movie that I would change it didn't have too much talking I could have watched the battle scenes for hours and a Part 2 would be too Good. Whether or not a part two will happen I am unsure but I know that I would be first in line to see it opening day just as I was with this one.

Yep! i totally agree. I like the movie. It was amazing for its graphics, the story line and the meaning of it all. It didnt need to be a long story. It was amazing in itslef.

I am hoping too that this is one of those which has been delivered to the public in a series of good to watch movies. Trilogies is the trend of the times and I am looking forward to the moment when they will announce the release of the sequel.

I haven't watched yet the new "300". but i've watched the old version "The 300 Spartans". it was really a great movie.

i saw 300 yesterday. ya ur right, it has breath taking images, stunning phoyography, good special effects, great background music & well casted actors. it was nicely directed film.
but only one major thing i found missing was, it did not hav a strong story, the film is very flat in terms of creating a sensational drama. its emotionless! if u see 'Braveheart or Gladiator' for that matter, u will understand wat i mean.
special effects just help add glamour to the film & nothing else. if a film has a weak dramatic story it will not rise above a level. Gladiator got Russel Crowe to oscars because the film had an very strong script & screenplay which unfortunetly i find missing in 300!
