yay, I have my first referral

If you have made a referral then it would be a good thing to send a message to them to say hello, tell them how long you have been here and how much you can earn and how you can do this. Be friendly and ask them to let you know if they need any help at all. Tell them about payment and let them know tht if they become active that there is a good chance they will reach minimum payout by the end of this month to be paid next month. Main thing is to be helpful to them and explain how the site works and how it will benefit them to be active.

I recently got my first referral after being here for several months also. I assume that they got the link from one of my blogs. They haven't been at all active, though. I don't know how people get tons of active referrals. I'll be interested to hear what others have to say.

I actually have only 1 referral and it's my sister...LOL..i'm lousy when it comes to referrals. My sister already have several referrals and I can see that I am earning from her referrals too.

i usually do to my close friends, and i have 5 referrals now so i guess the more you have friends the more referrals u will get : )

I have 124 referrals, but only about 2 or 3 are active. The problem is getting referrals by marketing the concept to them. You must have friends who have the same interests that you have. If someone does not enjoy writing then they will not take time responding to discussions.

Great? how did you get that first referral? I also have no refferrals yet, I invite some friends to myLot, but they just dont share my passion on it. so thats why they dont join, I don't know. I also posted my link to several sites I have but none... no refferrals on my list yet. Congratulations.

I keep contact with my referrals. It's easy because mylot shows their names and posts. not like other sites we can't really see how much our referrals are making

Congrats on your referal! Hope she will be active - maybe she just need to look around a bit first before she start posting like mad. I have no advice for you about getting activ referals. i have one - he posted twice 30 days ago...

I have nine referrals on MyLot at the moment, seven of them are people I know in real life. I got two random people to sign up via the Myspace Bulletin Boards, by posting a lucrative message asking people to message me if they were interested in making money easily. The other people I got to sign up by having my screenname as "Want to make easy money? Ask me how." I also told all my friends about that were unemployed or broke, as they are dying to make money any way possible! Hope that helps :) x

dont get friends lol. I have one referral its a friend i told her about the site and she hasnt even logged in once. she tells me it would take time out of her other hobbies :P my opinion is use other forums and sites you enjoy to promote your referral link to here. cant say it will work everytime all the time. but its wort a shot.

I have a referral too, but it is inactive, so I don't have referrals at all. When I saw the number of my referrals turns to '1', I was very happy. But now, I'm not happy, because it is just register in mylot and never visit it after registration. I hope I can make enough money on mylot. So I know I have to refer many people to come here. It is a hard work to increase referrals. There is over 94,000 members here.

It's next to impossible to find referrals that will actually be active on the site, but I usually try to send mine messages on the site and reply to all of their posts whether they started them or just answered one.
