I have been put in a wheelchair and because they dont know what is wrong with me they dont know how long i will be in it for. I was fine until earlier but i can barely fit around my apartment without catching my hand on the wheel. i cant even get into my bathroom. I just feel like the pain is so unbearable that i cant possibly carry on. How do i get past this? why am i so afraid.

I'm sorry you're in such pain! You need to go back to the doctor and see a neurologist or other specialist. Have they checked to see if you have a problem in the spine with EMG testing or MRI? Get back to the doctor and get this done. Also tell the doctor the symptoms you are having and get on some medication. Physical therapy would probably help you also. Keep your chin up and keep on your doctor to find the problem. If that doctor isn't working out, find a new one.

I am very sorry to hear this. Perhaps you can take comfort from your family and friends. Or pray to your God if you have a religion. No one want such things to happen. :/

Oh my dear, my heart goes out to you. I do not think that you should be left alone in a wheelchair to cope all by yourself. You should have a talk with your doctor and see if he can arrange councelling and you should also talk to a social worker to see if they can get somebody to come in and take care of you, even for a couple of hours each week. I can't understand why you are not taking any pain killers or aren't they working. I will keep you in my prayers and hopefully things will improve very soon. God bless.

The only remedy I can offer is prayer..I cannot say "I know how you feel" as I have never been in a wheel chair. I can feel your pain ..since I know what pain feels like . I do hope and pray you find relief and courage as you try to deal with this new item and novelty in your life..God be with you.+|

Oh I think that anyone that is first put in a wheelchair is scared but you have not said what is wrong with you and why you were put in this wheelchair there must be something really wrong with you to end up their in the first place.

I hope you are not alone. You need someone to help you and someone to talk to while you're going through this. It's good that you can type, so even if no one is there physically, you aren't alone. Call or write to people near you and ask if they can come over. Remember to get a second opinion if you think you should, and ask your doctor if there's any kind of support group for you. You've got people praying for you.

I think that anyone who was in pain and didn't know what was wrong with them would be afraid. Do they have any idea at all? How long have you been in pain for? I'm sorry you're not feeling well.
