How do students in your country get to school?

Some students have to get up early every morning on weekdays to get to school on time by bus or bike in our country. Sometimes riding a bike is faster than taking a bus.I liked riding a bike to get to school when i was a student.

In the Philippines, when there are students who walk to get to their schools - this of course applies to those who live near the schools.. But most frequently, students ride on public vehicles called 'jeepney' and 'tricycle'. A jeepney is a 20 to 28 seater vehicle which passes a definite route everyday.. A tricycle is a 7 seater vehicles that brings a passenger anywhere in the vicinity... Bicycles also count as achoice for some students but it's a little dangerous in the Philippines for that to be done because Pinoy drivers are irresponsible.. They might just get hit.. B-)

It's a funny topic, I think, for most primary school studuents, living near their school is very necessary, because traffic problem often make trouble on their way to school.But for those high school students, saving time is the first consideration of them and their parents. However,in China, many collage students like to go far away from their hometown to try another independent life style. So different idear has differnt choice to go to school.

I'm from Singapore and kids here will get to school by taking the 1. school bus 2. public bus or train or both 3. their parents take them there 4. walk Methods of getting to school varies according to their age. I started talking public transportation by the time I'm 9.

They go in bus,car,walking,bike,motor cycle. They use every possible transportation,as long they can get to school

here in the philippines we have transportation for grade school students and also high school. its called SCHOOL BUS or SCHOOL SERVICE. but it is rare in public schools. usually in private schools only. if you're studying in a public school system, you'll probably walk to school, take a jeepney or a tricyle. :))
