Many Koreans are coming here in the Philippines because they simply want to learn English. We Filipinos are known as good English speakers so,instead of going to the western part of the globe to learn English, it is much easier and cheaper for them the language here in our country. Also, most of the Koreans love our weather, food, and the people as well. They find our country a very nice place to live in. Let's be happy about this. This is truly helping our economy and tourism.

it is true that the educational system of our country has attracted plenty of them. our schools are reputed now to be much cheaper elsewhere plus giving yet good quality education. it seems like the philippines has a lot of good things to offer to them. this includes being able to learn good and excellent english.

They are just attracted by the low living costs and war weather. I have so many Korean friends and the reason why they travel here is that they can learn English the cheapest way and save more money while studying. Anyway, there are some nice Koreans out there, and I have adopted to their way of making friends, that's why most of my friends are Koreans. I also know this Korean, he's born here in the Philippines and he doesn't know how to speak Korean, he's very fluent in Filipino and English.

they're here to study. english to be specific. what's good about it is that, they give us jobs! hehe... they're not only students but tourists as well. when i was in boracay, i spoke to a guy there who drives pedicab as a living, saying they're so thankful that koreans came coz they extend their monthly earnings.. normally, tourist come to boracay by februay until the start of rainy season... now, some tourist especially koreans start coming to boracay by november until the rainy season of the next year... sounds really good for people making a living there :-)

Friend, common sense... Korean is not an english speaking country, we pinoys are the third largest english speaking country in the world that's why we are call centers capital of the world. They can't afford to go to US or England just to study english. Philippines is the strategic place to study, near their country and less expensive. So why do you think Koreans came here?

I don't mind if koreans are populating our country. Our country is earnings something from them anyway. They are here to study and I have read before that Korean government have tie up into an agreement that koreans would be allowed to study here in exchanged for some works in there country I think. As you could see there are also too many filipinos working in Korea now. Isn't it ironic?.

I think Philippines is a very beautiful country and the weather is so nice. There are also beautiful beaches in Philippines and therefore many people like it.
I love China

You should be happy because these people are bringing income to our "corrupted" country. At least Philippines has not yet been totally abandoned because of bad media, unstabilized economy, gruesome politics, etc, etc, by foreigners. It's cheap to study in the Philippines and most Filipinos are very warm that's why those Koreans are frequenting our country. Aside from cheap but quality education the whole country is a paradise. :-D

koreans have been told that the filipinos are warm and friendly. that we are always ready to welcome foreigners to come to us and be with us. then the next thing that they learn is that it is not expensive to stay in the philippines, in fact, the schools here are offering good quality education while collecting much cheaper fees compared to other countries around. as some have stayed here, they found that it is safe to stay around. with all these good news reaching korea, it is of no wonder that they keep on coming. it will be good if there will be others more to follow.

Yes they are everywhere and they come hewre to learn english to engage in business to sighsee and just because they can afford and they are enjoying their newly found prosperity as a nation. But it is surprising why it is so easy for them top enter the Philippines and act as though they are so superior in our very own country when it is hard to enter their country much less reside ther, engage in business or own a property. They do not allow foreigners to enjoy these benefits in their country but they come here and demand to enjoy all the rights of Filipinos. We should not allow this. After all they are just Koreans who cannot even speak or understand English well.
