what do you like about your mother?

My mother is so strict with me that I dislike her when I was a adolesent, but now I respect her. In my opinion, it's really hard to make friend with my mother, because we are so diffrent, diffrent ages, diffrent environment and others. don't you think so?

no one can deny that mother is the best friend as well as tutor at home. i am not agree with you the word "enemy" for mother. my opinion is that you should hide anything from my mother if you are in trouble or distress. you should share both happiness and sorrow together then you can enjoy your life. and it is true as she is much older than you she should have much experience and knowledge about life, the pros and cons etc. thanks.

What i like about my mom is that she is very accepting. We ofcourse fight a lot. Thats what mothers and daughters ares upposed to do:) But I have seen her calmly (and sometime snot so calmly) accept whatever life has to offer her. I wish i had even half the acceptance power she has.

When I was younger, I’m closer to my dad than my mother because my mother is more of the disciplinarian between her and my dad. But now that I’m married and have a daughter, I’m closer to her now. She guides me on being a mother and I feel that I can always tell her about anything. She has always been there for me and she has made a lot sacrifices for me. And everything that I am now, I owe it all to her.

My mom is my best friend. She has been there for me through thick and thin. I don't know what I would do with out her. I can't bare to think about it, because it sends me into a tail spin. She is not only a mother, but has proven beyond to my friend. I was blessed with being given her as my mother. I was fortunate with both good parents, but because moms carry us, there is a stronger bond. Very good post. Thanks for giving mothers a plug.

My mom is the best mother on the earth, she grow me to be strong man, and she scare about me to be hurt when i am baby.I say she is the best mother on the earth.

My mom has always been very understanding and loving. She understood and supported me all the way, and she's one of the very important people who molded me and helped me become what I have become now. I know I had given her some headaches and heartaches as I've been growing up, but my mom's love for me is just immeasurable and she has not given up on me..:P There were even times when we giggled together when I talk to her about my crushes in high school and even in college, and she also cried with me when I felt so down coz of my relationship failure before. My mom is just simply the best!:P

Well i like the way she cook :-) My mother is a wonderful person,she is very supportive. she's always there when i or others need her,she gives good advices and she cheers me up when i'm feeling miserable. So,what i like about her is her personaliy,she the person you want to be around with.

My mom and I have a great relationship. Now it's more of best friends rather than mother and daughter. I love to just call her when i'm feeling chatty and she always takes the time to talk to me. We get a long fairly well now that we are older. We did when we were younger too but it was more of a mother daughter relationship than a friend relationship.

My mom passed away when I was still in college. But let me tell you about her. She's so strict, But when she knew that I really like something, she would still give in. I know she loved me. The old tradition prevails in her. But I still thank her for being strict on me, because she was able to discipline me, taught me how to be systematic and organized in all my dealings, in whatever activity I was involved. And I love her for that.

My mother always know what i was worrying about. She is the place for me to tell anything, my problems, my happiness and my rant. She always there to listen and to give advice. She even love to tell jokes too. Plus she a great chef :). What i hate about her, that she treats me like a little child sometimes. She protects me way too much. She doesn't realize that i am grown up now, and yet she protects me like i am 10 years old. But she still my greatest mom, and i won't replace her with anything else in this world. Although i don't say it much in front of her, but..I love you, mom !

what i like about my mom is that she can easily sacrifice her wants or simple pleasures just to make sure we got what we need that sometimes i get angry at her. its not bad sometimes people would take advantage of that, especially my brother. i like my brother, he loves to buy shoes, sport stuffs, and he likes to date so he'd ask my mom for money for and my mother who is saving money so she could buy something for her own ends up giving it to my brother. sigh!

I like my mother when she gives me things that i like, when he cooks for me, when she takes care of me when i was sick. I dont like my mother when she's trying to hurt my feelings by saying something like just leave your husband and just live with us. I really love my mother but people have so many differences too.

I don't really know my mother, I was raised by a step-mother and even though she and my father were divorced years ago she and I are still close. I call her Mom and she calls me her "oldest daughter". We are close but I know my half-sisters, her natural daughters, are much closer to her. She loves me, my kids, and my grandkids and we all love her that's all that matters.

I noticed that most of us are really proud of thier mom, I'm positive that our kids (my future) would do the same,they'll be proud of us too! now, time to brag about my mom. I can't describe how much I love her, she's quite old now and yet she was never out of love to give to her children and to her grandkids. I love the way she takes care and spoil her grandkids. yes,she had her failures and shortcomings too as we all humans do. She is a good cook..I miss her menus now that I don't live with them anymore :(

my mom is very loving and supportive.I tell her even my lovelife and she dont forget to give me advice from time to time. Hes the best mom anybody can only dream of. :)

You made me miss my mom. The best thing about my mom is she never try to hurt my feeling. Everything she does is because she loves me. Sometime, thing that she does do hurt me, like when I want to travel far she wouldnt allow. Then after a while I will realize she did not allow because she afraid of lossing me. That I know how she is going to do everything, she does everything the same way everytime. Sometimes it's the same time, the same way, every day. I know how she bakes a cake, how she doe's when she vacum's, the way she drives somewhere. Very predictable. Some would say she was boring, but I like it. No surprises!!

you have to be thankful that your mom still there by your side, how i wish i could pull back the times when my mom struglling to live and with us the rest of the days but her temporary existence had lapse, i remember i had been out of cash going to work she gave her money, her last money... and gave to me, during crisis we had shortage on food, she allow us to eat first and she will take her meal after we finish, when i feel sick she's there giving medicines, feeding me and watch over me every minute of the day.... too sad she passed away but her memories still lives... kiss your mom when you see her when you wake up and be thankful to God that she's still there by your side :)
