My favourite pasta recipe is really plain and simple. Sun Dried Tomato Pasta Ingredients 50g pasta 2 medium mushrooms vegetable oil 1 tsp sun dried tomato paste 1 tsp mixed herbs black pepper 1 tbs vegan mayonaisse Cook the pasta until it is just soft. Meanwhile chop the mushrooms and fry in the oil until they start to brown. Add the sun dried tomato paste and mixed herbs and stir well. Tomato paste also works for the recipe but you may want to add some garlic to give it more flavour. When the pasta is ready, drain and add the sun dried tomato mixture and stir well. Serve and cover generously in black pepper and a spoonful of mayo. This serves 1 person but can easily be adapted for more. I know you said you didn't want to browse the net, but there are other recipes for pasta on my website if you want to look at them: http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/easypasta.html http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/sweetcornpasta.html http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/pastadelight.html http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/pastainsweetpeppersauce.html http://www.recipesforvegans.co.uk/pastawithpinenuts.html

I used to be veggie so have a few! 1) pasta with pesto and black pepper. All you need is a jar of pesto and some freshly ground black pepper, maybe some cheese on the top. Done very quickly! 2) Pasta with Quick Tomato Sauce: you'll need 1 can of tomatoes, some gravy powder or a little stock cube, a little basil, oregano or rosemary (or your favourite combination), marmite/vegemite/yeast extract/bovril, a little pepper and salt, some fresh or frozen veggies and some pasta. -cook vegetables until done (sweetcorn, peas, carrots, onion, red/green/yellow peppers or capsicums - things in small chunks work good!) -open the can of tomatoes and add a little olive oil, and either crush the tomatoes or stick it in a food blender. Put on a high heat for 10-15 minutes until the tomatoes reduce making the sauce thicker. Add in the herbs, pepper and salt, gravy powder/stock cube/yeast extract and seasoning. Add cooked veggies. Stir for 5 mins, then serve over pasta. This is good to make loads of the sauce and then freeze it in small batches so you can microwave it when you need to, with some fresh pasta! 3) Cheese sauce - melt 50g cheese in a bowl, add to it 20g butter, 40g flour and 40g milk. Stir until the flour has been incorporated then cook until it thickens, and spread on pasta. Good with spring onions and black pepper. 4) Pasta mixed in with curry paste can be good - similar to pesto but different spices! hope they help a little!
