Blogging and personal issues?

In my experience, the majority of the time, my blogs reflect what is personal to me and going on in my mind and heart. A means of self expression from an open book human.
In your experiences, how personal do you get in your blogs? How far do you go and stay within your comfort zone?
I basically went through a painful divorce, suicide attempt and resolution with my blog as my real means of expressing myself. In a public forum with no shame.
How about my fellow bloggers? Where do you draw the line?

When I was younger I had a very detailed personal blog. I poured my soul, anger, anxiety, love, pain, etc into it. I don't do that anymore. I just don't think that everyone needs to know that much of my personal information. Then again - there were people who read it and then tried to use it against me later. It's cool that you share. I find nothing wrong with it. I just don't want to get burned again.

Well, it is wrong that someone would use the information against you. There are cruel people in the world really.
On that note though, I tell whoever would do that to me to bring it on really. But I guess that is because I have reached a point in my life where I am like "here it all is!"

As you well know from being a reader of my rants (blogs), I don't draw the line. Well, I like to think I don't draw the line. It may be possible that I just haven't found my line yet.
My life is fair game. Anybody in my life is fair game, which has caused trouble in a few of my rants. And how stupid and ashamed I am of people, and especially my fellow Americans, is more than fair game... They are the target!

Hey, don't joke about higher powers coming after you. I do think that FOX not liking some of my opinions in my rants may be a reason I got deleted. The copyright thing is just retarded since everybody on MySpace has already uploaded the same videos I had. Just a conspiracy theory though!

i believe that a blog is something really personal and should contain no matter what topic the author wants to put in. I, myself, make my blogs more personal. It's more of an online journal, really. I put in whatever i think, feel, and want at the moment. Of course, i edit my posts but not to please others but to please my taste. ^__^ I think you're really courageous in posting stuff that really matters and are important to you. I applaud you for that. happy blogging! and keep it up, who knows maybe someday you'll inspire people of your posts.
so btw, what's your blog? can i read it? i'm actually curious. thanks! XD

I basically blog on my MySpace exclusively now.
You can get to it by going to http://www.andreaskye.com .
And I love for people to read it.
And I would agree that maybe online journal would be a better term for what I do as well.
