People have thought of doing meditation for so called "Mental Peace" or "Peace of MIND". But have you ever thought (with your own mind) that Mind can never be in Peace! So, if we do Mediation and involve our Mind in it, then where will be the peace? The question of Milllion dollars raises, what this Mind gets when we do Meditation? Write your thoughts, ceaselessly, beacuase mind needs answers.

I beg to differ. It is hard to achieve peace because the mind always gets restless. But if you try hard (or don't try too hard), you *can* achieve peace in your mind.

This is little contradicting, mind only want pleasure and not all thing we do in a day involve pleasure, aparts the night works :D. Meditation is surely for mind but it hardly connects to daily life.

I have great difficulty getting my mind to let me just be. One technique that has worked for me is to accept a thought, and let it go. With more troublesome thoughts, I say no, no, and they go. How do you clear your mind?

This is realy a great question. But I don't think that we use mediation much in our daily life. Probably, because we are involoved so much in other wordly things that we really don't get any time for meditation.

I use meditation as a tool. And I use it in my daily life. I don't meditate to achieve 'peace'. I use meditation for self-mastery, because only with self mastery are you truly free. I use meditation to hone the ability to focus my attention at will. And personally, I'm not looking for answers! Well, understanding is nice. But I prefer a bit of mystery... it helps keep me interested.
