I did this year , It was a real headache. I did it through the IRS.gov site.....I am glad its over. For the last 7 years I had a tax man...but he charged $300 to do my taxs. We just can not afford that. I am always glad when tax time passes. Do you have someone do yours or do them yourself?

I have been using Turbo Tax for the past 5 years, and as of yet haven't had a problem. It is a pain though. Hubby and I both have businesses and business expenses, so it is tough to sort through all the paperwork involved. In fact that is what I am in the process of doing today. (I am cheating right now and taking a little break on myLot, lol.) I have 16 more minutes before the timer goes off and break time is over, then it's back at it. I have always done my own taxes, but I was raised in a household that had a built in accountant, so I learned alot from her, and I keep up to date on all the IRS changes every year through her. I also know that if I ever get in a bind, I have help. I hate tax time.

We do ours online, and have been doing so now for like 3-4 yrs. We use Turbo Tax, and it is quick and easy to use. I am actually surprisede there are still so many people that go have others do theirs. It is so much cheaper when you do it yourself.

I do mine myself. I use Turbo Tax or TaxAct online to do them. I have to itemize now that I own a house, which kind of freaked me out at first. First time I ever got anything back though was the first year I itemized. It is easier now that I only have one job to input all the info in for.
I haven't started on it yet for this year (bad me!). Guess I'll have to suck it up and get on it this weekend Not that Uncle Sam comes after you if the Gov. owes you...
