I know that sounds horrible, but gosh, what a pain in the butt she was!! We moved 50 miles away from where we were living and she stayed there!! YEAHHHHH!!! Ahhh, but only after 2 days of living on her own in a hotel room (that her daddy paid for) she got fired from her job! Can you believe that? How irresponsible!!! And here's the kicker...Her mother is coming to live with her tonight. She's flying in from Portland. How dumb can those two be? You are going to move 3000 miles away from your home to stay in a hotel??? DUH!!!! That's just insane! I don't know about those two....The lights are on, but noone is home, lol. All I know as that in a week when all their money is gone....THEY AREN'T COMING HERE!!!! lol I'm not a cold hearted person..but these two women are enough to drive anyone insane. They are LAZY and childish. My 5 year old has more common sense than the two of them combined! It's just crazy how they are.....I'm so glad they aren't my problem anymore....back to a NORMAL life, yeahhhhhh!! Thanks for listening! Has anyone else been this happy to have a house "guest" leave??? I'm throwing a party, EVERYONE'S INVITED, lol :-)

If my memory serves me correctly, this is your brother's wife who took your car. Right? Well you're certainly better off without her, but be careful you don't cop a double whammy, and cop the mother-in-law too. Good luck Stephany.

good for you...!feeling seems liberating, lol. we all need to have our own space as a family and having "extras" in the house especially if they're totally disrepectful (eats up a lot of your space, pretends to control your household, slobs, etc.)can really drive you nuts, lol. good luck to you and to your family...

%0 m iles isn't that far and I am sure that they could find their ways that far. So maybe you better batton down the hatches and set out all the house guest traps. I have had house guest a few and they stayed longer then we wanted them to and now we have a policy in our home that nobody no matter who they are cannot stay no longer then a week tops in our home. And we let everyone know this ahead of time just so they know to have other accomendations by then I know it sounds awful but you have a house guest or a family stay with you for a long period of time and see how you will feel afterwards. I love my family but I just cannot tolerate them all the time just get my nerves up and then fights happen and then things fall apart so it's just easier to do the week thing. Well I wish you the best of luck in sister in law proofing you house. Good luck and god bless.

Be strong and firm with your husband. Talk to him now about what happens when their money runs out and everything crashes and burns. Make sure he is in agreement now that they can't come and live with you, not even for one night. If they come for one night, you will never get rid of them. I, myself, am counting the days until my lazy stepson moves out. I am not foolish enough to hold my breath though. He is extremely lazy and un-motivated. What should I bring to the party?

LOL. I had to get rid of my husband to get rid of the constant traffic in our apartment at the time. We had a two bedroom apartment. There was me, him, our 4 year old daughter, his brother, his friend, the friends girlfriend/cousin, her two kids and whatever "girlfriend" his brother had at the time. I finally realized I would never be free of them if I was still with him so I told him to leave and filed for divorce that was 11 years ago and just to let you know he hasn't changed he is just doing this to his new wife who hasn't wised up yet. So yeah I know where you are coming from. Party on!

I know exactly how you feel. We had my mother in law and her ummmm boyfriend? Stay with us for a while. They didn't pay rent or anything and treated our house as if they were the ones who owned it not us. The last straw was when her boyfriend tried to tell me I couldn't talk to a friend that way as he had known this friend for longer than I had. (I had known this friend since I was 5 years old and that ummm boyfriend had known him for all of 6 months) We kicked them both out the next morning. We did tell the mother in law she was welcome to stay but not him. Her reply was wherever he goes I go. Life is so much more pleasant without them lol. Enjoy your time back in sanity.

That's how this girl was. And we got into a huge fight because she's lazy and wouldn't lift a finger around the house...she thought that my husband was going to make ME leave before her!! YEAH RIGHT!! The girl seriously has issues....I'm so glad to have some sanity back, lol. Thanks for your response! Have a great day :-)

Lucky You :) First off, kudos to you for having the patience to put up with her in the first place. I don't know about house guests, but I do know all about sister in laws. Unfortunately mine lives right across the street and the she is the queen of pain in the butts. Fortunately we are not on speaking terms anymore, but I do have to see her face every so often which is all it takes to ruin my day sometimes. Sounds like your sister in law needs to learn some responsibility and quickly.

OMG yes! My ex-sister in law was the biggest pain in my butt! She is married to my ex brother in law, who was 20 years her junior. She came to visit for a few days and by the end of the first day I wanted to scream. she tried to take over my kitchen and my house in general. She complained about everything I did. She intruded on how I disciplined my child and so on. I had friends come over, and she was very rude to them. I had never been so glad to see someone leave. My final straw was when she ruined my dinner! I was making sausages with potatoes, onions and carrots and she took it out of the baking pan and put it in a pot and poured water in it! We ended up having sausage and potato soup! Out of respect for my brother in law I kept my mouth shut, but my ex husband knew I had had it. Very soon after they left. I had a big party!

it was dark,gloomy.i was alone in the home with my sister in law who had came to me for spending summer holidays....the light went ....i started hearing footsteps.........as i came out.....the sound stooped......What a frightening moment it was!!!!!!!!!!!! and suddenly she roared at me and i shouted Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!and i ran away in my room and locked it........then there was a knock at my door.......the light coming from the booton of the door,constant knoks at the door,and the caaling of my name made me so puzzled that i quickly opened the door and gave a smashing ,powerful shot on her face.........then i came to knew that she was my sister in law............the next day she went from my home and so i thanked god from saving me from my sister inlaw............................................

In laws always bring troubles. I have trouble with my mum in law, she is as hard as the solid meteor rock when it comes to make her understand. She did not understand at all and she was throwing the foul lies, foul claims and foul story towards me and my whole family. She was pain to me and how could she also interrupted my father as he was not involved at all. When I did something fatal to my wife (I know it was my fault) she accussed my father for teaching me to do that. Yeah it's good that you get rid of her, however ensure that she don't have your contact number otherwise she would bug you again. She's now back in my home country again and she's some 2500km away from me, but she still able to send chilly text message to me. I want to get rid of my number but I can't, I love my number so I don't bother to change it unfortunately. I don't also bother to contact her again if not needed.

Hahahah! I don't know about annoying sister in laws but I have cousins that come to visit and end up staying for a few days and usually finish my food, my drinks and one time, killed my XboX. Can't blame them for wanting to stay around, I have a fun house. I'll bet your sister in law really likes being around you and your family though. While I think it's a compliment, I can fully understand when you just can't stand some people being around, using or eating everything you have. Kudos Stepanie ;
