Do you feel your parents ignored you as a child?

i never felt that my parents ignored me. they gave their best of times and efforts to nurture me and bring me up. i can't forget the love, affection and care they forwarded to me in my memorable past. they would rather bear a hardship on themselves than to expose me to it. i have seen them shivering in winter and perspiring in summer just to fullfil my need or wish. they did more than they could have done in a normal life since they always went out of the way for my happiness and satisfaction. i can never pay them back, even if i spend my whole life in this project. a lucky one..

My Dad left for work at 3 a.m. and returned home at 7 p.m. We would only see him at dinner time and on the weekends. I was an only child until I was eleven. My parents just ignored me and let me play by myself. My Dad and I didn't start really talking to each other until I went into the military.
