When you look it up according the the USPS it is not listed in the things that you cannot send to the Phillipines. It's not going to be cheap at all to ship it though, even a laptop.
Here is the list of conditions for shipping to the Phillipines. http://pe.usps.gov/text/imm/immicl/immiclnr_018.html
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info.I have looked everywhere I can think of and can not find anything saying its illegal. It just seems strange that they would want to buy it from over here. Why not buy one there.

I would think that either they can't get it locally there, or you're offering it for cheaper than they can get it there. Just my thoughts. I know personally it always astounds me when I end up shipping books to foreign countries, makes me wonder why as well.

Try services of filoutlet.com. It will deliver your item to the Philippines through the Balikbayan Box method, I just don't know if there are other custom taxes with regards to a Computer or a Laptop. It has some affordable rates depending on the weight of your cargo. Try this one and Hope this helped.
