No, thank God. I think I'd be so terrified if I ever had to go through something like that. When I was in the 6th grade, I almost experienced a tornado. It was in the next city over, but it was enough to scare me for life almost.

I've been through several minor floods, but big enough to clear out our whole basement.

Couple of hurricanes & tropical storms in Florida the last few years. Minor earthquake in Illinois years and years ago, couple tornado warnings-but luckily they were always the next town over, but close enough to scare the crap out of ya lol.

Yes!. as I was at Andoman and Nikobar on duty while I was in Army when SUNAMI take place. It's very hard to erase memory of those days from mind and hear.

In the winter of 1998 there were huge ice storms that paralyzed the north eastern US and Canada. I was living in Maine at the time. We lost the power, phones. We had a wood stove in the basement so we had to drag our mattress down cellar and sleep down there. We had no power for 13 days. That's the craziest disaster type experience I've had. But I can't complain. It was nothing compared to the bad hurricanes that smash through the south eastern US or the natural disasters that have occured around the world. We count ourselves lucky that we just had to get buried in ice for a couple weeks.

Like an idiot, I didn't evacuate before Hurricane Rita hit S.E. Texas last year. It came through overnight where I live. My husband slept right through it. Even my dog, who is normally terrified in thunderstorms, slept through it. But there I was huddled in a corner, being terrified with all the wind and possible tornadoes outside howling around. Maybe it was scarier for me because it was night. But I don't think I will ever stay through another hurricane again if I can help it.

I have been through hurricanes and tornadoes but never an earthquake. I had relatives in the Alaskan Earthquake many years ago and they had terrible stories about it. So, I would say earthquake is worse. We had hardships after the hurricane...no water or electricity, but the ground opens up in an earthquake.
