Yes I feel the same way. Gardening is one activity that relieves me of stress. Plants specially greens really have this peaceful effect on people.

Yes it does give me a feeling of peace when I garden. I love to be out there tending my plants and pulling weeds, it's like I'm in a world of my own. I used to think that only boring, old people loved gardening until I started some years back but it gave me such a sense of achievement and joy that I haven't stopped since. There are still people that think it's a boring thing to do but they are so wrong. I love to watch my flowers and plants grow, I feel proud when they actually thrive instead of dying. Well, maybe it is cos I'm getting old, Oh well never mind at least it keeps me happy!

Yes, they say its a stress reliever, the feel of the sand in your hands, the smell of fresh air, the leisure of enjoying the gifts of nature.

Gardening brings you some peace if you like doing it. I myself not only plant flowers in my yard but also grow some vegetables. My favorite are tomatoes, string beans and pepper. I love seeing the vegetables grow after they were just seeds. When I am stressed I go to the yard and do some gardening. It really helps you relieve your stress but I think you have to like doing it otherwise it's just a chore and it won't help.

When we do what we love to do, that is what we will feel - a peace of mind. I do not like gardening as much as my dad,my mom and my big bro.I have cactus but now my dad and my mom are taking care of them.At home,we have garden that full with many types of flowers and plants.

Frankly speaking my mom often says that he is having peace of mind in her garden.I too like to sit there alone watching the beautiful flowers and the greenary. My mom spends her leisure time in watering plants, placing the plant to some other place, changing the mud of plants and pots. She will request us to water them if she is going away from home.

Basically u feel the peace when gardening is that u care for it...when u care for someone and pour lot of love...u feel like happy and mind relaxed,peace.. See u will feel peace of mind when playing with kids..its because u care them and love...so wherever u whole heartedly shower ur love u will find peace..Thats my opinin..When the flowers in the garden move here and there it seems like they smile happy at us...one more thing is that reciprocate of love will happen in the garden,....that will make us more peace..that is ..u water them, prevent them from animals...so u make them to grow..in turn they show their love as blooming into floewrs and fruits,shade..someway they show their love to us....Thats the reason y we feel happy n peace in gardening....

I feel so, especially when I realize that I have planted and watered them...and God gave the increase. Indeed, close to nature makes me feel close to God.
