I have noticed that I do not fall asleep in the same fashion every night. The majority of the time, I fall asleep in front of the television, other nights I fall asleep while reading a book and sometimes I even fall asleep in my kid's room after getting them to sleep!! How do you fall asleep at night? Do you fall asleep listening to music? or reading a good book?, or in front of the television?

To me, sometimes I will also fall asleep hard. The method that I often use is try my best to control my own mind. I must make myself remember the happy things, which can help me relax so that I can sleep easilier.

I think I fall sleep a different way almost every night. Sometimes I'll fall asleep in front of the tv on the couch. Other times I'll fall asleep w/ the tv on in the bedroom. And then some nights I turn off the tv because I just want it quiet.

I'm a bit of an insomniac - I only fall asleep in bed and only after lying there for a long time. When I stay somewhere and can't go to my own bed I usually don't sleep or will only doze for a few hours (not proper sleep). I can do this for a long time before the lack of sleep becomes a problem.
I do find that reading before going to bed will help me get to sleep faster.

Well .. I used to fall asleep in front of the TV ... before that I would read myself to sleep. Now-a-days I usually am in front of my computer til after midnight and fall asleep in my chair half the time.. LOL
I also have music playing almost 24/7 and at night its a soft lullaby type music.
(For those that have trouble sleeping, or getting to sleep, taking some melatonin also works well and is totally safe.)

I think you are plain tired. So you just doze off anywhere that is comfortable. Your body needs rest because you may have abuse it or overstretch it. Sleep at least 8 hours a day and you will be fine the next day.
