Do you think you are a GOOD WRITER?

I am new to mylot, but have had a lot of success on Gather.com and learned a ton about writing there. I am not sure that mylot is a place to hone writing skills or not, but I would love to see it become that way for me. It seems mylot is more of a chat space, especially since you cannot copy/paste until you have 500 points. That is holding me back from participating here as much. I am sure it deters a lot of writers.

I think I'm a pretty good writer. Hehe. For me, it comes with practice and inspiration (or motivation). Therefore, when I'm not in the mood, I couldn't write well. I think myLot can be a good practice ground for writers or for aspiring ones, especially when topics are well chosen (topics that would merit a good response). Otherwise, there's nothing much to say or to practice on. I have noticed that my writing has improved (in time) here, and my use of English as well.

Yes I think I am good at writing.I am pretty much sure many myLotters must ahve improved their writing skills by particiapting here in the discussions.

As a full time writer, I do believe that practice improves your writing skills, making you a better writer. I think some natural talent and imagination also has to go into writing though. It isn't all about the grammatical. Some people enjoy it; others don't. I have heard from several myLotter's that writing discussions and responses on here has greatly improved their writing ability. I am also a firm believer in write what you know. It will make it so much easier. Nice topic.

I am absolutely sure that I am a good writer. I have a novel written, free online, plus I have made a lot of money with my writing abilities.
