My hubby and I have a similar debate...and he won, he's correct. I make my chili with hamburger. He does his with steak. He says his is Chili con Carne, I said mine was. He is correct. Chili con Carne is chili with steak meat in it as opposed to hamburger or ground meat. Carne is the spanish/mexican word for steak. I hope this helps.

We always had noodles with our chili at my house, but many people I know think that is weird and have never tried it... I like it but don't think it's the normal way to eat chili.
I didn't know what chili con carne meant, but the steak vs. hamburger thing makes sense.

You are right. Everyone knows that!! Your boss needs to brush up her on Spanish LOL. MMM...chili sounds so good right now :)
