I would like to start using ground turkey more often, but I don't know good ways to make it. What are some of your favorites?

In lots of things I just replace 1/2 of the ground beef with the ground turkey, like meatloaf or taco filling. Chili's are very good using ground turkey. I don't really use special recipes, just use my regular ground beef ones but cook with the turkey instead.

I like to make a meatloaf of sorts from ground turkey, but I don't have a recipe for it. I make it kind of like a ground beef meatloaf, but use quite a bit of sage in it. Also, you can make sausage from ground turkey by adding sage, salt and pepper or whatever other spices you prefer. Italian seasonings are good in it. I sometimes fry up a small piece to taste it before adding other spices so I'll know what else I want to put in.

Oh this is my favorite and I just made it last night! Bog Burgers 1 1/3 lb ground turkey mixed with 1 sm McIntosh apple, 1 stalk celery, 1/2 onion all finely chopped. Mix in 1 - 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. Form into patties and cook on med-high for 5-6 minutes per side. Mix 1 c cranberry sauce with 1/2 cup mayo. Spread on toasted english muffins and serve patties like a hamburger! Yummy!!!
