wvclaylady Amen on that one!!!! Add on top of all that, any "work at home" that we may do, and you get a total of about 80 hours a week! And, thank goodness our families have us to make sure they do what they need to, or they'd be helpless. LOL

wvclaylady Yes, we do keep a first aid kit at home. It usually has bandages, anti-biotic ointment, anti-itch cream, alcohol, hydrogen peroxide. We also keep a good stock of pain relievers, stomach meds, and cold meds on hand, but not actually in the first aid box. :-)

Can depression come and go?

I was wondering if depression can be brought on by an event? Let's say someone dies, you lose your job, or trouble with your kids. Is that a form of depression, or is it something else? And is it something that should be treated?

wvclaylady I agree with the others! It's very pretty! I can see what you're saying about the detail, and I'm not sure why it would do that, unless you might have been using a softer clay than usual. Canes seem to do better with the firmer clays, but if you only have...

What Do You Do With Old Polymer Clay?

I purchased some Premo polymer clay a few months ago on Ebay. Unfortunately, when I started using some of the bricks they were dry and crumbly. Does anyone know if there is a way to soften up the clay so that it is usable?

wvclaylady It sounds to me like the clay you bought was partially cured, possibly from being too close to a heat source, or in the sun, perhaps. I would suggest trying to get a refund from whoever you bought it from on ebay. I have never used the clay softeners, but...

I have made a couple of attempts to sculpt with polymer clay and I have to tell you it's a blast. It's easy to work with and it helps to already have colors instead of just plain gray or white like many other sculpting mediums....

wvclaylady I've done quite a lot of sculpting with polymer clay. That's my main thing. I'm working on learning bead making now, but I figure sculpting will always be my first love! You can see several of my items on the gallery page on my yahoo site....
