For those who have read book 6, and are eagerly awaiting book 7, what are your thoughts on the Snape situation? I just "know" it's not as it appears. I feel like the whole thing was planned between him and Dumbledore. I'm not sure why, though. But that's why I don't get paid to write those books! LOL

I have been saying that I thought that there might be more to that than it seemed. I think it is very likely that it was an agreement between Dumbledore and Snape, in order to keep up appearances as far as Snape's spying on the deatheaters. It may have been the only way for them to spare Draco from committing the unforgivable curse himself, and Dumbledore would surly put students first. I can't wait until the 7th book, there are just so many loose ends and questions that haven't been answered yet!

In book 6... there's a mention of Sumbledore and Snape arguing...maybe Snape told Dumbledore about the unbreakable vow and Dumbledore has already decided that Snape should not break it so Snape won't break his cover as Voldie's spy. In the last part of the book, Dumbledore pleaded and I think that it's because Snape doesn't want to do the deed... he pleaded for Snape to kill him...
