Who is very strict in your house - Mom or Dad??

I have to say my dad is more strict than my mom. He is strict when it comes to going home late, and how i dress. Maybe he is more protected since i am a girl. My mom is somehow strict when it comes to our studies. She doesn't want us getting low scores from exams. When i won't imitate them with my own child. I'm thinking of a new way to raise my own child. Thoug my parents are good. I just want to try something different. Besides, when i have my own children, there is a difference in the generation so i should also have a different way to raise them.

hey, nice topic!
my dad was strict in some areas, but my mother, though lenient in many would put down some very firm rules in things that we knew our dad would allow. So it was difficult! But overall, they did a great job bringing us up, and I would for most part, if not all, use their upbringing style.
