Would you like to work in China as language teacher?

I have many friends who went to China to teach English. They all comment it is an exciting experice. A few hours of class, free housing and good salary (by chinese standard), plus the chance to travel in such vast country! On what conditions would you like to work in China? And if you have tried, what do you think are the most difficulties you faced while working/living there?

As a teacher in China, I invite you to China to enjoy the life here. Perhaps you can earn much more in other countries, but everything is cheaper in China. Besides all the advantages mentioned by maggyyy, you are highly respected by your students and other Chinese people. When you are in difficulty, they are ready to give you a hand.

It could be funny just for a year or so. I'm pretty sure I could make 8 times as much money teaching english here in Denmark though, so it shouldn't be because of the pay.
