I recommend "avg free"!!! I used Norton but avg leaves Norton in it's wake!! haha.. I also use spybot s&d with spyware blaster free!! The 3 together are in my opinion, as I have been using them for about 2 years now, exceptional!! AAAAAAAAAA +++++ rating!

Actually,i'm not using any anti virus.
I'm only using an anti spyware.
If you need a free anti virus you can use "avast anti virus home edition" it's free.

Well maybe I will look into using Linux in the future but I will have to know how to install it. I'm sure it's not easier to use than windows. It's true that with windows you can get many viruses from the internet if you don't protect well your computer. My computer crashed one day and I'm afraid it will happen again.

It depends on your O/S,I always put my important data under the control of Linux O/S. Because the amount of viruses in this operation system is less than that in Windows. I just use Windows to play games. There are many antivirus program free for Linux, such as McaFee

Hi all. My anti-virus software is kaspersky 6.0, it works very well with my computer. I downloaded it from internet around 4 months ago, with a free serial number, which can last one year, and it can also update every day with the newest viruses database, but I don't like the sound when it finds a virus and take the deleting action.

Hi, if you are looking for a free antivirus software, why not give a try Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition. This can be downloaded at their own official website at www.free-av.com I have been using this software for almost two years. Since using it, I have never encountered any problems at all with regards to the overall function of my machine. I am so impressed and satisfied with its performance. It updates regularly and guess what, this can be scheduled at your most convenient time. On the other hand, it is very light on resources and does not use a lot of memory. Hence, it does not slow down your computer. It detects and deletes rootkits, worms, viruses, malwares, etc. Otherwise, it does its jobs pretty well.
Have a nice day and God speed!
