Yes ,we do.It used to be with family a few years back ,but now it's with friends and family. However, we mostly plan it out in the city rather than sticking to home. It's a fun night and the feeling of a new year following shortly makes it even more interesting. It would be nice to have another festival arounf 10th or 15th of december, lol. December could be the festivities month, lol.

I am a born again Christian so yes I do celebrate the birth of Jesus although He was probably not born on this day it is the day Christians celebrate His birth. I love going to Church on the Christmas morning and then usually go for lunch at my mums.

I never celebrate Christmas in my house but I had attended such celebrations given by my Christian friends. I liked the pieces of roasted turkey especially the delicious stuffs inside the bird. I enjoyed the peaceful and joyous atmosphere there.

My family in-law celebrates Christmas each year. It can be fun as most holidays are, but what I don't like about it is the commercial side of it. It has nothing religious in it because many people that I know look at it not like the day Jesus was born, but the day they will buy/get gifts. I know friends who have debts for this celebration. I like Easter better, it's less commercial.

businessmen will always grasp every chance to make money,so Christmas is a big day for them too, especailly in my country,Christmas is more commercial,we exchange gifts, and go out for dinner, and things will be more expensive than before, luxury day,i think.
but the good side is,we have a chance to be together and have fun.
i guess Easter is more interesting than Christmas,we didn't celebrate this here,so i know less about it.
thanks VotreAmie,all the best.
