Yes, last nite my 2yr old little girl was choking on a hard candy. She is sitting on the couch not breathing turning colors and 11yr old son Donovan, jumped in and start the Heimlich Manuver on her! He did it like he saw on TV. My older son Victor came in the room and called 911. Between my two amazing boys they saved the life of their sister Olivia.
I am the PROUDEST mother in the world right now as well as the most GRATEFUL. I have raised to wonderful boys who are smart enough not to panic but to do what needs to be done. I am honored to be called Mommy by two amazing, wonderful Heros.

Momma, you should be proud. I am glad everything turned out good. Your whole family is blessed to have each other. I prefer not to give hard candy to kids when they are in my care, because I know I will panic if the worse happens. Thank God Donovan and Victor did not panic. Your boys are amazing and your little Olivia is precious.

Wow, momma-- what a scare! You should be very proud of your boys! If that happened here I would be the one panicking- you're lucky to have sons who didn't panic and knew what to do. I would give them etxra hugs today-- and maybe a special treat (:

Proud momma, Praise God the boys were there to help. Praise God He put them in the position to help her and gave them a clear mind with knowledge what to do to save Ms. Olivia.
You are a blessed woman. Of that there is no doubt.
They need a blue ribbon around their neck!

Oh WOW , I got chills just reading that and thinking of what a close call you came to losing your baby .
You have every right to feel like the proudest mom in the world as your boys were amazing . I am proud of their actions and don't even know them . They will always know that they were able to help out their little sister and this must make them feel good about themselves also .
I wouldn't even be able to do something like that as I have no idea how to do the Heimlich Manuver myself . It is definitely something we should all have to do in life .
