what is going on

Yeah, like others said, the coke one was probably deleated over teh copyright issue. On the other 3 images, I hear you, I uploaded 2 images with my responses yesterday and only got 1 cent, same thing a few days ago. They were all pictures that I took myself and they had everything to do with the discussions. But on days I only uploaded one picture, I still got a penny. Maybe they are only giving out a max of 1 cent a day for images?

I just checked my earnings and it doesn't have any information for yesterday at all. It doesn't even have the day on the list, so I don't know what's going on.

They might have deleted it because it is a brand name pic, who knows. I can't remember if I have seen sites that pay more for images, but it seems that I had heard of one or two a while back. I know that if you submit a picture with an article on AC, you get paid more for the article.

I don't post any new discussion lately but i was getting 1c to 2c for picture either in discussions or interest, with discussions is ok even if we don't get paid much for it as it give some life to the discussions, I will be still uploading pics with my discussions but I no longer upload photos to interests, i tried it a few times and it takes much time and pay very little, rarely anything above 1c for a pic.

This is something that has disappointed people for ages. 1 photo = 1cent, 10 photos = 1cent. And yet we are encouraged to add many photos. I honestly can't see the point in either encouraging us to add more photos or paying us more for a photo. How could a photo possibly add to the site's revenue I wonder?

Try to check your next earnings to see if you earn the two other images. Mylot have their own timeframe and maybe the other images were not included. I'm sure it will reflect on your next earnings update.

I feel the same way, yesterday, for the first time in a long time I uploaded 8 photos, I got $0.01 for them, I thought you got a penney for every photo, if that is true they owe me $0.7.

Some of my other friends in Mylot have also complained of not earning much or getting paid anything for uploading photos. Other members in here claim to be earning fairly good from doing so. I do not have any pictures to upload, so I don't even mess with it. I thought about uploading some later on and see how it goes when I get some to upload on here. I'm not sure why they deleted the coke image unless that maybe it was a copywrite or something of that nature.

First of all, earnings postings for images are usually slightly delayed from when they update postings for discussions. So reload your earnings page and see if it updated. Second, it CLEARLY STATES you can only post images of things that you have ownership of. The Coca-Cola company owns their trademark and their images and you have no right to earn money from that. So mylot is keeping you out of copyright and trademark litigation. Be thankful

Hey u r right . i have also noticed that its not worth uploading pictures here..u get only 1 cent for 3-4 photos. Is it really so that they do not accept pictures of coke or ny soft-drink or any brand?

That is a toal drag. Could it be that someone made a complaint (even thought that would have been totally illogical) just to be nasty? That sucks though and I hope it was a mistake.

Hi Yvonne, The coke can is a copywrited design so you don't have a right to take a photo without their written consent but it does happen all the time.You could put a photo of a glass of cola instead. If you don't think it's worth it then don't do it.I load them because I want to share something extra. I sorry that you are having a hard time with this but I think once you figure out what you can do you will have more fun with it. sometimes it depends on the image..if it is copyrighted or first time it is appearing on the site..I suppose that as you search for topics to make sure you don't copy ..you should search for images..:)+

I don't bother with images either. I think you only get about a cent for a discussion as well. We won't become millionaires by being on my lot that is for sure.

your right, the pay for images on mylot stinks, but hosting images is still indeed worth it, cuz they highlight your discussions and get them attention. the pics are an indrirect payment system. mylot tells us to host copyrighted pics like coke pics from elsewhere, i used image shack, so they can't get dumped. however, i don't know how to do that, i've tried, and can't figure out how to do that, there's bugs in mylot's sytem.

For my first few discussions I was given 1 cent per post and 1 cent per image. I didn't count after that. For one topic or interest, I feel one person can upload a maximum of 5 images. I had uploaded many different images for one interest group I had created, and every time I downloaded a sixth image, the first one disappeared automatically.
