i was just curious, when you ask a friend or invite someone to join as your referral, what do you tell him? what reason do you give them to join MyLot? Do you show proofs of your payment or do you just say that this is an interesting site etc.. ??
or do you take the wrong way-- do you lie??

I just tell them about the payment and would say that it is lot better than orkut, (which it definitely is, I have never orkutted once I joined myLot). And would tell them that they would be paid for more or less the same things, I don't think that is a lie.

yes, i use exactly the same tactic, i tell them to cut down on their orkutting and put in that time on MyLot, it would certainly give you a few dollars every month, if not more. thats a lot of money for just killing your time.. :) thanks for your response buddy!

This is really random and off-topic, but isn't a "scapula" the bone in your knee?

I never lie about myLot. I tell them that you won't get rich quick and that you have to earn your keep, so to speak. I tell them my average monthly earnings since joining myLot. I will not however show proof, as it can be related to identity theft. I tell people it's a great way to make a few extra dollars. I also mention that there are a lot og great people on myLot and I have made many friends. It's a great site, so there is no need to lie.

yes, you ve got the right words-- "you wont get rich quick", thats one thing people dont tell. i generally tell my friends how much i ve earned and how much is the maximum and the minimum one can earn out here.. obviously not telling the truth wont help at all. thanks for your response.. i ll keep in mind that identity theft thing.. :)

Yet, i didnt have any referral.. Anyway i wont lie to get a referral. I will just inform them for what mylot is working, It is just one of the way to get extra money but i didnt get any money yet, so i cant tell lie. In the same way we can make friends out of here, i think it is hard to get more money out of this... I will tell the real fact to them....

I tell people that MyLot is a great site to meet people and build relationships. I also tell them you can get a ton of information about Online Businesses through the site. Most of all, I tell them that if you are really interested in making money, then you must build a referral base. Until then, only expect to make $10-$15 per month writing discussions, if you work about an hour per day. Most people will say that it is not enough money for a business. That is when I refer them to www.turnthoughtsintocash.blogspot.com - The Article about the POWER of 10 talks about how to build up your referral base. I don't care to lie about it, because all it will do it ruin your relationship with them, and above all, ruin their opportunity to actually build a business. If you lie to someone about your results, then they will expect a quicker return...they will eventually become frustrated, and then quit. At that point, all you have done is wasted a referral, and most of all that person's drive to want to work from home.

thats great, so you use these articles to convince people. thats a nice way indeed.. and yes, this is surely a great way to get hits on your blog..lol.. i agree with you that if we lie, then it will give results only for a very short period of time, whereas if you set realistic goals for your referrals, they might indeed start enjoying this and may put in more effort! thanks for your response. :)

I only have one referal :( but all I said was that I got paid (I was talking to him on msn and it was my name) when he asked what I was on about because he knows I dont have a job. Then I mentioned mylot. He asked how to join and I said I'd give him a link. He was more than happy to join up through me because then he would be under my friends list and he would also help me out by me getting 25% of his earnings! He is a very nice guy and although he has not been on here very much he got a bit addicted the first night and he doesnt want to come on here to much because he knows he will be on here way to much and not sleep much because that is what i am like! I don't like people who lie and I would never lie about anything. I feel sorry for those who join because they have been told they can earn $100's even $1000's on here by their referer's!

Neither will I tell lies to my referrals nor show them proofs of my payment because I haven't withdrawn my earnings yet from my egold account. So there's nothing to show them to at the moment.
What I always tell them is that this is a very good site where they can earn just by joining the forum. I tell them they can earn just be making discussions, replying to discussions, uploading images and through referrals! THat's all.
I think the more simple and direct is, the more they are curious with it. :)

I actually tell them the truth on what they should expect here.. They could earn money just by posting comments as well as new discussions.. But since I'm just new and just messages to my referrals, I didn't have nay proof yet but probably soon I will be able to show to them my proof of what I'm saying is true..

I only have a few people I referred here. It's very important not to lie or stretch the truth about how things work here. Personally when I ask friends if they are interested I don't leave anything out. I'll tell them everything I know about things here. If you want your referrals to stay active its wise to always tell them the truth.
