Thats right! There are also good players on the other teams beside Seigaku. I also like the team captain of the Fudomine high who was once called the golden ace but he then dyed his hair black when he joined the Fudomine High and the brother of Fuji. On the Kanto tournament, lots of other good players were introduced. Ryoma and the other players also upgraded their skills and became better because of the rigid training they have undergone.

Best pick! As I have started this anime series, I found out that Tezuka was a real genius out of the players of Seishun. Its really hard to return his technique wherein the ball does not bounce or his other technique called Tezuka zone. This Tezuka zone is similar to one of the techniques of Ryoma's father. Fuji is the second best out of the regulars but Ryoma managed to give him a hard time during the monthly ranking games of Seishun, where all the tennis player play each other to pick the regulars or the people who will have the right to wear the jacket.

I really like the episode where they played each other, Ryoma learned lots of things because of that match. Tezuka was mentoring Ryoma and pushing him to become stronger and better than him. He wants Ryoma to become the corner stone of the Seigaku Tennis Club.

I remember the match between atobe and tezuka, if Im not mistaken. It was the time when atobe was trying to self destruct tezuka by playing a long game that took almost two hours! The guy was really nasty!

You might find him more interesting you will be able to watch more episodes. Actually I am just starting to watch it and was able to watch episodes 30. Well, to give you an update. His favourite technique is the "Dunk", it was called by that name because he was like dunking a ball. Episode 29 up to 30 is really funny, Kaidoh and Momo are rivals since when they both freshmen. Hahahah! Those guys are really funny, they dont want to be beaten by the other and that made them a good teammates although, they were not meant to be a good doubles partner.

These three are really good and genius. Tezuka's technique is really cool, the can manipulate the direction of the ball. He would not change his position but the opponent would return it to the same direction where he is positioned, his opponent would be tired but he manages to only exert almost 25% of his energy. Fuji's playing cool, he does not playing seriously but if the situation calls it, be scared because you cannot react if he uses his monstrous technique. The ball will not bounce but rather crawl from the court. What a guy!

Yeah! I am also wondering why he's on No. 2 but he's not the second captain of the team. Oishi senpai was the second captain but Fuji's much better than him. I really like Fuji's technique when he let the ball crawl from the tennis court. I think Tezuka would definitely have a hard time returning that ball, Tezuka might not be able to use the Circular technique where he would not move from his chosen place. Fuji's really cool, his eyes are closed and very calm but if he would open those eyes. It only means business, he get serious whenever he opens those. Bwahahah. What a scary guy!

I will agree. Ryoma is really cool, although, his attitude is very provoking. I really like is never say die attitude, unlike any other anime about sports. This is something different, the lead anime character is a combination of good and a very intriguing character.
