Today the softwares like photo shop or photo pain etc. can create wonderful photo graphical effects. Which one you like the original sunset or the created sunset. I mean to ask you do prefer the original photo with effect or the photo created or touched for effects in a software ?

No intention to be a smart*ss, but I'd rather just enjoy a picture of a sunset without knowing if it is original or touched up.
My husband is learning to use some of these softwares to brighten and touch up some of the photos he takes. It can produce really amazing effects. Often I can not even tell what he has done unless he shows me the before then after.

I love photoshop for what it can do to correct certain things in a photo. For nature shots, I prefer a straight out of the camera kind of image. The only thing that should be photoshopped is a dust blemish on the lens or something that the camera was at fault for.

After working in a darkroom trying to get the right exposures and contrast, I love photoshop. I mainly just touch up contrast in 'curves' or 'levels' and crop the original like I would in the darkroom but with better control. Still, in a black and white digital photography exhibit, I pasted in a new sky in several of my photographs, which it just terrible of me, but looked great.
One of my favorite things about photoshop is that I can photograph a scene at two different exposures and then put them together for a full range of tones. This is really helpful in sunrises.
A pet peeve of mine is when photographers use photoshop and oversaturate the colors. I think it ruins a lot of nature photographs.
