my brother really hates doing his chores..it's either he says its not a guy thing or he's just to lazy to do it..im just giving a sense of responsibility to my brother that's why i wanted him to do chores..atleast he should learn how to wash the dishes..do the laundry..feed the dogs..just simple things..
but chores aren't for girls only...
guys should do things like that too..right??

well i am a brother too,, and i think that yes sometimes or rather many times ,i too feeel lazy and disinterested in doing any work..i too feel that chores are a female biz.
but only sometimes !! i gotta do atleast a part of d chores so the awesome burden of chores like washin the dishes , doing the laundry , cleaning the house...etc.etc..,,, dont fall on my sis. and mom alone....
i well i get to do the outside of the house chores mainly .....but stil the chores shud be divided.

Definitely - chores are for both men and women. Both need to be independent - the way a woman should also work outside the home a man should also work in home.

Yes, I think both guys and girls should do household chores. It's really important for everyone to know how to do those things for themselves so that they'll be capable of taking care of themselves when they get out on their own one day. They can't expect to always have someone else there to do things for them.

they should,but..
i'm happy if they just keep their own area clean.
i have to argue with my brother just to get him to take out the garbage.and sometimes he makes a worse mess trying to help..most times,i'd just rather do it myself.

Its almost a necessity with both parents working in most homes for the husband to pick up the slack now. I am a much better cook too. no doubt about it the only thing I am not good at is fried chicken. I have been doing dishes since I was about 8 or 9 and the first real job I had was a dishwasher in highschool.
