Do you live every day like it is your last day on earth?

Does anyone try to live each day like there is no tomorrow? Do you live each day knowing that you will still be around tomorrow and just do your normal activities? Should we assume that we will still be alive tomorrow? What is your feelings about this?

I ,K! That was a good topic! I am always grateful for each day that has gone by.Even though I am not enjoying the ride at the moment,I still have a roof over my head and food in the cupboard. I always go through my day with gratitude that i am still alive as I know that either my dad or I could be living our last day. I think people should stop taking life for granted as you never know when it's gonna end .I do plan on doing a lot of things i had always wanted to do but couldn't if we could ever get out of this mess.we only get to live once.

I am glad that you liked this topic as I have been thinking about this for a while but keep forgetting to use it as a topic. :-) I am trying to enjoy life a bit more and even went and bought a digital camera for the first time in my life. :-) We could miss out on a lot of things if we sit around the house thinking we will still be alive tomorrow. I too am grateful for being alive and being able to wake up every morning.

I do appreciate everyday I have here on earth. I do try to live like there might be no tomorrow. Its a good way to live. I do make my plans and count on having tomorrow, but I do try to make sure I don't have regrets as far as treating people the right way. My family knows I love them and I do my best not to have angry words with them. Life can be so short, we never know when our time is up.

That is very nice that you appreciate everyday you have on earth as we all should do that. We never know when our last day here will come so we should enjoy what we have right now.

If we all DID live like there was no tomorrow, we'd love more and treat each other with respect, and spend our time wisely. I'm afraid most of us just take it for granted and get caught up in our busy routines. This is certainly something to think about!

I would definitely agree with you that we would love each other more and treat others better if we took this approach. We do take our time in life for granted. I know that I am trying to enjoy everyday as much as I can. I have been thinking about this a lot lately.

I think that living each day as if it were your last is the best way to go. This way you live with no regrets, and you won't be sorry if tomorrow you really don't wake up as you have done every morning until now. As a Christian, I believe this is what Jesus was talking about when he warned us to be prepared for His return. Since we are not guaranteed a tomorrow, we should not waste all of our todays.

It certainly is the best way to go as I am starting to enjoy things more and trying to do more while I still have the chance. We never know when we may not wake up again. I have wasted a lot of days in my life and am trying to change that now. :-)

I try to live every day to the fullest. I make me a list each day of things that I want to get done or accomplish. sometimes I can get alot done and other days, it is a struggle for timing. I try to make plans for each day but I also like to see how much I can do for today as if tomorrow may never come also. I try to make progress on things that need to be done but I also set aside time to try to anjoy part of the day too because we never know if tomorrow will ever come. I never assume tomorrow will get here but I always make plans for the future also as if that time will absolutely come also.

That is awesome that you try to live every day to its fullest . I am trying to do that myself. I think we all struggle to get everything we want done but that is good that you try. I kept putting off getting a digital camera but today I decided to go out and get one and experience what it is like since I may not get the opportunity again. There is so many things that I want to do while I have the chance.

Actually I want to live a life like there is no tomorrow, but i cannot. People say that live like that there is no tomorrow as we don't know what tomorrow holds but its not that easy to put those into action. Sometimes we cannot enjoy life when others are enjoying because we have a problem and its not easy to forget what we carry in our heart even if we try to, But i am sure some will be leading a life like there is no tomorrow, and such are the life that i really want to have.

We should definitely live like there is no tomorrow though I myself do not live everyday like it is my last but am working on it. We certainly do not know what tomorrow will hold in store for us.

You know what.....I don't. I live everyday because I love to be alive. I know the statement means living each day to the fullest, but if it was my last day on earth I would be a basket case. I would probably be crying all day if I knew it was my last. I think that people who believe in a "greater power" could possibly realize this more so. By this I mean that most prayers and meditation etc usually include some type of "thanksgiving". Hopefully making them more aware of the wonder of each day.
