Last night, I had some candles going and to my suprise, I noticed my big candle, the wax was dripping on the floor. I have no idea what I need to do to get it off.
I looked at it this morning, it's harden into my carpet, it seems I can scrap some of the wax off, but not all..
Could anyone, please tell me how can I get candle wax off my carpet. What if the candle has color to it? If it stained my carpet a bit, is there a way to remove the color spot?
Thank you in advance for suggestions.

A piece of wax paper,a rag and an iron....lay the was paper on top of the wax on the carpet, lay the rag on top of the wax paper and than hold the iron on top of it for about 20-30 seconds.....the wax on the carpet will stick to the wax paper and lift off the carpet.....hope this helps

I have this happen all the time, the important thing is to chip off as much wax as you can before you start meting eth rest out with lots of paper and a just warm iron. Don't have the iron too hot in case you damage the carpet, don't put newsprint straight on it in case you get balck marks, use a plain piece of kitchen paper or blank soft papaer then lots of newspaper and warm it up nice and slowly so teh wax soaks into the paper, keep changing the paper until you don't get any more wax on it and you'll be good as new again

Greetings mzbubblie!;)
Well, I think you're problem is very easy to solve!;)
I remember a time when I also experienced the same thing as your's, and a friend of mine told me that he read of something on a magazine about the easy ways removing stubborn dirts and stains.
Try to heat up your flat iron, get a cloth or any piece of rug to place it in-between the carpet where the wax stain is, and the flat iron. When the flat iron is already hot enough, put it on top of the cloth/rug and gently move the flat iron back and forth for the wax to melt. VOILA!! Problem solved!;)

The best thing I can think of right now is to get some newspaper and lay it over the wax, put a hot iron over the spot, this will melt the wax and the newspaper should soak it up. Hope this helps

I learned this trick from one of my friends.Once you have taken off whatever wax you can scrap from the carpet, use a cloth on the remaining wax and use a warm iron to melt the rest .Then pick it up with the cloth and you are almost done .You could then clean the rest of it with some detergent.
