Well, lately I know I've put discussions on here about how bad the weather is where I live. All the snow and cold and such. I can't believe how the weather is here today. I have all the windows open, a little Billy Joel cranked on the stereo and life is good!! It's a record high here for us today. It's 78 degrees out and sunny. What a difference a little bit of nice weather makes to person and their mood.

You are completely right. It's been really beautiful here the last several days. Actually what caught my eye was your billy joel reference. we were out driving around yesterday with all the windows down rocking out to "we didn't start the fire" as that's my four year old son's newest favorite song. He doesn't know any of the words but we didn't start the fire, but he sings them out as loud as can be. LOL we love it, and so tend to listen to it a couple of times in a row so he can sing to it. We grilled out when we got home and all ran around the backyard in barefeet playing. The weather makes all the difference!

That's awesome. My wife is a billy joel fan and she unearths music that i haven't heard in YEARS. LOL but we were in the car and our son, Daemon, was in the back seat and he was banging on the arms of his booster seat yelling out the words and going, turn it up! turn it up! and i kept saying, are you sure that's not too loud? Turn it up! I'm sure the people in the cars next to use thought we were nuts, but it was great. And it was the beautiful weather that kicked it off.

I had Billy's Greatest's Hits in. My hubby hooked up some UNBELIEVABLE speakers outside in the front and back yards. My daughter who's 8 loves his music too. She was dancin' around and singing at the to of her lungs down by her swingset after she got home from school.

How nice. Weather around here has improved as well, although not to the point where we've opened the windows.

you are absolutely right, i am the type of person who is ready to change my mood every moment with the weather. i would be feeling ok when it is fine and i would be feeling nasty if the weather turns out to be nasty . for sure. bad weather really sucks a lot. and especially like people who are sentimental are much more likely to change theri mood when they face different kinds of weather. and it is better to calm down in such kind of bad mood .cos things might take off too awful if we are in a bad mood.

I completely agree with you. Weather can make all the difference in the world. Right now I'm praying for a little rain. It is so dry here. We've had about 4 days now that have hit the mid 80's. I've been working in my flower beds and they really need some rain. But if not, I'll just water them. I love watering my plants as well.

I know, it's lovely here today (Dublin, Ireland) Not a cloud in the sky. Nice for a change, up until last week we were having thunder storms, rain, hailstones and snow. I love the summer, it really lifts people. and there's so much more you can do when it's not raining. I love driving around with the sun roof open and music real loud. It's nice. :)

of course weather had a hand in deciding a person's mood, even though bright weather really dont do much we will feel the difference when we r having a bad day, bcoz on a hot day we wont feel like doing anything.and over a rainy day we cant go out and it will spoil our day.so of course i do mind weather.u too might

You are right, weather has a great influence in our mood. I was so frustrating during this winter because it was so long. I was feeling like it will never end. These days weather is so nice here in our place. I am feeling happy and enjoying my walking.

I agree. The benefits of the sun can definitely influence ones mood.
It started off a very pleasant day here, but a hot north wind developed, & it got to 31 degrees celcuis. Which is quite hot for autumn.

78 degrees out ?? Whats that in Celsius. Its 34 degree celsius where i am, and i feel so hot. Its a humid place where i am and so the heat really gets to you. I'm hoping really much for the weather to go back down.
It must have been a great day for you. Billy Joel !! River of dreams. Hope you to have days better and as good as life goes on. :)

yes, I find my students also excited these days. several days later our school will organize students to travel. Just imagine 4000 students marching on the way to the peach woods. I long for the day to come. That day is a traditional festival day.

You are right, people generally feel better when the sun is shining and the warm air has arrived. You feel more rejuvinated and you want to get outside and do something, take a walk, garden, whatever but you want to do something.

Very true, weather sure makes or mars the mood :) We had sunny weather the whole of last week but today it has been raining and we have more rain to come..that really puts me off. I feel sleepy, lazy and as gloomy as the dark rain clouds. When its sunny I feel energetic and very refreshed.

I have to agree, weather can change a person's mood, unfortunately ours (I'm in Georgia) is making me and my family miserable. It's sunny and warm, nearing 80's this week, we haven't had any rain in a while, and the pollen is driving us absolutely nuts! There is yellow on everything sitting still, and a yellow haze in the air. I, as well as my family, have bad allergies and this doesn't help. I'm glad you're finally getting to enjoy nice weather.
