Sheylan, Phoenix, Branwen, Nashan. I worked with a lady named Nova, she married a man named Mr. Cain. Pony Boy and Soda Pop (they were named after the characters in the book, "The Outsiders"

My daughters name is Sena. I think it's unique.

I have heard a few too. I love interesting names. I knew a girl in elementry school named December. I also knew a girl named Midori. My daughter in law's name is Meramonie. I have a wicked stepsiter named Shirlene. I have a boy cousin named Storm. I like some of the ones you have listed as well. They are very unique.

Well, my sister's name is Tahra Lalage. I myself have a boy's name. I don't know, but maybe my mom was really trying her best to be creative. Haha! I remembered attending a birthday party. The name of the celebrant was "Baby Girl". I think her mom didn't even bother to think of a name for her (because that's what you see as identifying marks for babies, right?--baby girl and baby boy). I also have an aunt who named her six kids after the days of the week. I'm quite sure that if she had a 7th, he/she would be named Saturday. I was also teaching kids before whose names were Erxienne, Dakila (well that's a Filipino word for 'courage'), and Nachi. There are lots of other unusual names that I've heard in my lifetime, but for me, unusual is cute. Happy myLotting!

Let me see, I have a friend with a child named, Hayden which I think is kind of a nice original name. Also, recently have met people with kids named, Pepsi-Lynne (I kid you not), Jeckyll, and a personal funny one is Derbert. What are people thinking ????

I have met girls named Raven, Destiny, Diamond (sister to Cole), Kiah, Keyja, Mercedes, Lexus, sisters Bambi and Fawn, Ahlyveah, and Paradise. I don't judge other people's taste in names but I do worry about children that have names with "tease-potential" but then again any name can get picked on as creative as kids are these days.
