What Keeps You Here?

Oh don't give up Candy! - I think we all get a bit burned out from time to time. I run days without posting ome single discussion and then all of a sudden I have all these come at once. I think that discussions worthy of reponses are harder some days than others and that is a bit frustrating to most of us that have taken the time to try to make our discussions popular and interesting. What I see mostly here are simple discussions that get the most traffic. Again it's about Quality not Quantity. I think we have some wonderful participants here, you being one of them and I find myself always looking forward to their input and their discussions. Come on hang in there, :)

Oh boy, you haven't read my latest discussion, have you? I certainly have slipped a lot. My passion has been eroded so much that I am just waiting to go.

I add new friends, and new interests, that way there is always some new discussions to respond to, as well the more friends and interests you have, the more friends respond to your discussions, which makes it a happier mylot experience. Or in theory anyways :)

I was here a lot when I started but then the holidays season arrived and I had a lot of things to do so there were days I hadn't even turned my computer on at all. Few days ago I started thinking about myLot again and I was wondering why was I so addicted to myLot just few weeks ago and how could I do without it. Today I started writing again.

my lot serves as media where I can tell about what I learned in medicine to laymen like labor progresssion,medicines.

i keeps coming back to Mylot because i miss the hot discussions and i enjoy responding to my discussions and stand my ground on what i believe and go for a debate.its was really fun and less stressful for me and with all that fun you also earn a bit which is good for me because i get some extra buck here in mylot.

I think although most people might not agree that it is the money factor due to which so much members are active daily on mylot.

I feel exactly like you do. I was really enthusiastic about mylot at first and now I find that I stop by occasionally, probably every fortnight, just to see how everyone's doing. To be honest i've found that I now only tend to read and respond to my friend's discussions. I'm quite busy at the moment so that's probably one reason that i'm not on here as much, but the weather over here in the UK's getting warmer now and the nights are getting much lighter so I prefer to spend my time outside instead of behind my computer screen.

I have had a lot happen in the past couple of weeks, and I have to admit it was a nice vacation. I needed the time away becuase I was getting so mad a some of the people who were being to mean and rude. Now, I am more comfortable and at peace. At least I hope that I am. I like my friends here.

well some times I don't fell like posting at all and will go for weeks because when you think about it can be hard trying to get payout but not sure what it is but I keep coming back

I like myLot. I like doing new friends, I like reading new discussions, new messages.... you can earn something too.... but I don't think this is the main reason you connect on myLot. These days I've never been on this forum because I had a lot to do with my family, my son is 7 years old and we studied, went to the park, visited my relatives because of the celebrations.... and so I had no time for myLot. I was well with my beloved son, but from time to time I thought a little to myLot....

From day to day for me is the comment and discussions which are picked by your peers. To communicate really... some of us don't really go outside from our homes. Maybe its the want and desire to explore other worlds or countries in this case connecting with others we don't necessarily feel directly connected to. but feel like we can always help in some way. I'm not sure why I keep coming back. Being able to share my opinion for the most part and to get paid for it is also kind of cool too. Most times I just like to share my point of view. But its like you said, you're interests are starting to fade away,.. I think ultimately this site is like a tool helping us to be more in tuned to who we are as people again. Inspiring us to communicate on a civil level, rather than savages. The payment of course, could be more enticing.. paying us more money with or without referrals. Giving us that encentive to stay with forums like mylot... which could possibly help create more jobs for people who can't work those physical duties or even read pass the grade ten level.

So far what keeps me coming back and motivated to respond more is reaching the payout level before the end of the month, once a new month starts i will try to reach the minimum as early as possible then I may start to lose motivation.

To comunicate with people from diff countries and practise my English. G

i keep coming back because i find this is a place for me to escape too. I can give my 2 cents without someone interrupting me while i am doing. People may not agree with it but at least i get it out and not have to worry about being interrupted. plus I love to hear stories about my friends on here. I love to hear about their lives and know that I am not the only one going through tough times either.

My friends are really why I come on here just about everyday. I try to respond to all their new posts or at least read them. Plus I like to see their responses to my responses on their discussions.

Hey yes this is really starnge cause I don't earn much and don't even want to !!! but things like discussing and responding to some discussions is really great. Its the simplest way of sorting your problems and having responses of different people with different views..!! Its really great. Thats what make me stick to this site ... its almost my Mylot..!! muuaaaahhhhhh..!! Have a nice day!

I like reading the discussions and answering some of them

I was like this last week and not on here for a few days. But I had a lot of other things to do and did not find the time. I find that I come back to see what my friends are posting and when I have comments from them I have to reply ,for me it has a lot to do with my friends ,I have some that are very loyal and I do not want to let them down.

The freedom from boredom! I also come here to find out what my friends have posted, what is going on in their lives. I like to hear what other people think of the new things in the world or just my new hair :)
