I haven't had the chance to get to see 300 yet, but I really want to go. My wife isn't in to all the action movies, though, so I guess it is probably a movie that I would have to see with my buddies, or ultimately rent on my own. Have any of you seen this movie yet, and would you give it a good review? If I can't go and see it, I should be able to live vicariously through you.

I saw it yeasterday and really enjoyed it., Its extrememly similar to the comics/graphic novel, so if you read those then you have 'seen' much of it. As a woman I also really enjoyed looking at all the beautifully sculpted male bodies, a real treat to see mature men in such fine shape, so if thats enough to persuade your wife to go with you, you could try that approach!

I'd say its absolutely amazing. Some of the best visual effects I've seen in a long time, along with just the right amount of story moving dialogue. And the combat scenes are definitely superb.
Ive seen it twice in the cinema and already Im planning to buy it on DVD as soon as it comes out, so yeah, its worth it!

the 300 is a really interesting movie that everyone in my school wants to see. i think it's great and action packed with all the roman killings, bloods, spears, barbarians, betrayals, war, etc. i think this movie is really violent, that's why my brother doesn't want to see it. but too bad. i really want to see it though. if this week doesn't start moving faster, i am going to rip someones head off and chuck it in a playground full of kids and scream "THIS IS SPARTA", beating my chest like a wild ape.

seven times. 300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..
