Noob inquiry #1 Help regarding them colorful STARs? What are those stars for?

Hi, I just noticed your response to one of my friends discussions about the star rating, so thought I would let you know. You will get your star after you hit 100. It is your reputation on mylot. You will notice that you have + - ! signs by the side of each discussion and response left. You rate these by the quality of the discussion and response, this is how you get your star rating. If you hover your mouse over my star rating you will see my rating out of 100! When you get yours you can do the same! Hope that helps!
