Those of you who know me will have noticed that I have been going through one of my depressive phases. It happens now and again. However, today I feel much much better and I would just like to say a big thankyou to all of my friends who offered supportive words relating to my depression and some great suggestions to get over it , or at least fight back.
Anyway, normal happy service is now resumed
thanks again
blessed be

That's a nice thing for you.
You know if problems arise there's a reason for that, maybe it will make you a better person and gain experience from it.
Gaining back to your normal life after depression is passing stages of it. First is the weeping stage where you cry for a certain thing. Second is the denial stage where you deny the fact that something is really wrong. Third is the acceptance stage where you accept the fact that something really happen. Then, the last stage is gaining back yourself and being able to live a normal life again.
Happy to hear that you've passed those stages and overcome them.
Always be happy and successful!

I am so Happy that you are feeling better. I suffer from depression myself, and I have learned that no amount of medication is going to totally get rid of it, but it does help to shorten the life of my bouts. That is one way I keep it under control, but while I'm in the middle of it, it just seems like no one understands. So always know that you are not alone in this. There are plenty of us here that know what you go through, and we don't mind lending a helping hand when you need it. Good to have you back!!!!!!

I am glad to see you were able to come out of the depression with a great new attitude about life. Life has its ups and downs for all of us and we must find that coping mechanism each of us is given to handle the downs. I think maybe being inside all winter may add to the problem of depression. now it is sunny and bright and beautiful outside. You can wake up to a blissful green sunshiny day and smile for being able to be a part of this wonderful life you have been given. You are very welcome for the comments I made during your time of need. Just remember there are many people here who do not even know you, but they still care. Bless You and welcome back.

I believe every one has despression now and then. I am happy to hear that you are feeling better. Some times just sitting back and spending a few days in silence helps me "get over it"!

I also deal with depression off and on. I think the weather has alot to do with it. Spring brings new hope for better days.

Yes it is and you have to remember all the time, every single day. I know that is not so easy to do and can be really difficult when you are in a depressive phase but you must try. Life is wonderful and we have to love it. Have a good day!

I am so glad that you are feeling better. You are very welcome. I suffer from stress and depression all of the time too. It is very hard to get through life when you stay stressed out and depressed and I know how you feel for sure. I have my good and bad days also. I don't know how to fight back with other than to just go through my daily life the best way that I can. I do not take medication or anything like that for it. My depressions will never go away until I can make some physical changes in my life. I would like to maove away from alot of the things that stress me out. I'm sure it would help me out alot. I'm glad some of the members here helped you.

Thankyou for your kind words of support. You are, of course, right we do have to make physical changes if we are to get right away from the things that lead to depression. However, one of the things i have learnt through my bouts of this debilitating disorder is that the last thing you want to do is change anything when you are in the pit. Its like you just cant be bothered and yet it is the only way up
thank you again
