Are you a Giver or a Taker?

I think I am a giver. I know it feels good to received something from someone but I feel much better and happier when I am the one giving and seeing the smiles and the joy of those people or love ones truly makes my heart happy.

I am def a giver. If I have it or sometimes just on a weem, I will give...At work there is a lady who sits next to me every now and then, I offer to treat her to lunch...Just the thought of knowing it was sincere and I meant well gives me such a warm nice feeling inside...I actually feel good knowing I'm giving to someone who appreciates my sincerity...

Till I remember about me I always give something to others, I had not took a single peny from any one. However, I was always there for my old, new, or recent friends. I love to give everyone anything I have! I recommend every one in this MyLot that helps other by give everything you can, it makes ourself happy!

Hi, BuffMom. I have posted a similar discussion some time ago, titled "Giving or Receiving?". You may want to see some responses there too. I believe that "Giving is more blessed than receiving" and also when you give sincerely and unselfishly, meaning you do not expect anything in return, you get paid back tenfolds or a hundredfolds in many ways.

I'm always a giver and go without so that everyone else can go with. I am not much of a taker but I do like to take my husband's money. :)

I am a major giver. I spend most of my time taking care of others and asking for little in return. I have a very hard time accepting help from others.

i pefer to give things, as i find i am constantly buying little things for my boyfriend. which when i think about it, is where alot of my money goes lol...but obviously i enjoy recieving, again, especially of my family and partner

I give what I feel like giving at that particular moment. There is a voice inside my head which tells me about these things.Some times I listen sometimes I don't. No don't get me wrong. It is not the voice of God. Sometimes it tells me to do crazy things and I do these crazy things if I feel like doing it. I don't accept anything which I don't like or have use for. My argument is that there may be other people who have use for these things. I don't like to keep some thing just for the sake of it. I always tell my friends about these things and they understand

I'm a giver.Nothing gives me more pleasure than the look of joy on someones face when I give them a well thought out gift.Of course it's nice to receive as well.

Hmm, a very good question really. I think I am both, but I am a giver more. I am sincere glad to give if I make somebody happy and I take away if I see it makes somebody happy, too.

Im a giver especially when it comes to relationships,thats why sometimes i forget to put myself first before others..As much as i can i want to help out even if i think people just take me for granted

I'm definatley a giver. If I have some extra money, Ill buy something for someone else or give them the money if they need it. I think of others before I think of myself. I don't like to take because it makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason.
