I always send out card for Christmas, but I hadn't usually for other holidays. This year I have decided that I'll send out cards to relatives and to a few friends and I sent a couple of St. Patrick's day cards. My sister's birthday is St. Patrick's day, so obviously I sent her one and Valentine's day, is my daughter's birthday, so I sent her one (she got 2 cards, one birthday and one Valentine's). I just decided that sending cards is a good way of staying in touch with relative's and it lets them know that they are thought of year round. (especially my Aunt's and Uncle's, they usually send them to me). Do you send or receive cards for every holiday?

Not anymore. The last time my friends/relatives exchange holiday cards were like long time ago. Maybe peoples are too busy or forgotten this tradition.. hmm.. most of us just exchange a very short message via phone... hmm.. how technology change us... (sigh..)

Christmas only, and that's enough to last the whole year. About 300 cards - a mammoth task sending them all out. Madness if you ask me but then that is my wife's decision and of course I support her decision!

I only send out Christmas cards and Birthday cards. I think that although it is nice to keep in touch with people by sending cards on other special days it can sometimes be difficult for them having to think about replying to you all the time.

I used to send out cards on every ocassion but I quit doing it after I found out people don't even open them most of the time. I'd ask about their card and they say oh. I didn't look at it. So I quit. I would send cards from www.riversongs.com and they are beautiful, funny cards and for people not to care enough to open one I figured it was senseless of me to keep sending them. Now I might send a few a year for like birthdays. If I remember to. I do however hand out christmas cards every year to family and friends.

I used to only send cards for Christmas & birthdays. But my husbands family are really into card giving. They send Easter & anniversary cards too. So next week I will have to buy, write on & post numerous Easter cards. And there are 6 kids in his family!

Not really. I dont have anyone to write too. I sent my husband a valentine card this year but unfortunately trust our postal to either delay it by over a month to having it lost because my husband never received it. Wanted to mail him a card because its mre personal and i wrote it myself. Maybe once i moved to canada then i can start mailing cards to my family back in the Philippines.

I send out birthday cards, but am really kind of cutting back on the Christmas cards. Just the amount that I have to send out on my husbands side costs me a small fortune with the price of stamps. I have like 15 card to send out just to his immediate family. I started just sending x-mas cards to the people who always send them to us. I don't do any other "holiday" cards though.

Not really anymore about the only cards except at Christmas is an Ecard and then a few Christmas cards at Christmas time. Cards are not a bit deal really anymore and most of my family is gone. Comes from having a older family. Friends now are mostly online. So ecards it is.

I *try* to send out real cards during festive seasons. If I missed them during Christmas, I would try to send cards for the Chinese New Year. But if I am very broke that year, then I would just give it a miss. :P
