Sometimes I feel so demotivated as a wife and then other times I feel on top of the world about being a wife. What motivates you being a wife?

I think all of us have our days where we don't want to do any of the housework or cooking or errands. Personally, my motivation comes from seeing the house tidy and the appreciation that I get from my husband and my children for taking care of things at home.

My motivation comes from the smile on the faces of my husband and my son. They are my motivators. Without them I am not the person I have become.

I too feel this way often. Right now though, I am not feeling appreciated by my family. It is important to be thanked for what you do for them. Sometimes wives are taken for granted for what they do and how hard they work in the home, sometimes working a full time job, caring for kids, we have multiple responsibilities and it is exhausting. Right now, I just can't even motivate myself to clean my house. But tomorrow might be different! Really what motivates me is the love I have for my child and fiance. I do these things selflessly out of love for them. I hope this helps!

wife - marriage is the first step on how to be a wife
The motivation I have are the smiles, hugs and kisses I receive from my husband and child. Yes there are times when I feel so tired to move a limb gladly my husband often helps me whenever he can.

There are times when I feel demotivated being a wife when I have an argument with my husband. I guess as a human we need people around us especially our husband to show us some love. I try to remember our happy times and about the things that made me fall in love with him in the first place and try to forget the argument that we just had. Also I read the Bible and the words are just so touching that I realise it is God's purpose that I should be a wife and I feel motivated again.

I agree that we probably all have our days but what motivates me the most is when I see my husband smiling and know that its because of me. Whether its from me being silly or him just knowing that I'm there for him. I got lucky and really found that "one" person that i feel I'm suppose to be with. We are truly best friends and I wouldn't trade him for the world and that is motivation enough for me.

The only thing that motivates me is God and my husband. Somedays I don't feel like doing anything around the house and my husband doesn't care. I am the one who cares if the house is clean and I try to be a good wife. He loves me no matter what. I try to be a good christian wife and show him love. If I am down I just pick up the bible and read about being a Godly wife.

I think what motivates me is my children and husband. Yes we all have thouse moments where we hate doing the mudan things that wifes do. I think sometimes life itself just seams so boring that you get in to a rut. I think when we change it up or when a child says i love you mommy being a wife become the best thing in the world. I also think when your husband prases you alot being a wife means more.

The very fact that you beong to someone and there is someone who loves you makes me feel great. Apart from that the very fact that I am the missing rib of my husband makes me feel worth a wife. its great to be a caring and loving wife to someone and its wonderful to have a fly

I am like you sometimes I really enjoy while other times I think what did I get myself into lol. The thing that keeps me focus is God and that I made a vow to him to help this man out and to help him grow and mature as one. Sometimes you do get your moment's and that's natural especially when you feel overwhelmed with things like cooking, laundry, chores etcetera. When you get to that point have some "Me" Time. Hang out with the girls or even treat and pamper yourself. To make yourself feel beautiful and rejuvenated. :)

What motivates me for being a good wife is waking up each morning my husband is cuddling next to me. Every kiss I get for a good breakfast, lunch and dinner I prepare. And to know the fact that I am not alone and I have somebody special with me to spend the rest of our lives growing old together.

Honestly it is the security in being a wife that motivates me. My husband takes special care to tell me what I mean to him and so I feel taken care of...secure. I find that it is in the moments that I don't feel secure that I begin to lose my motivation to be a wife. As much as we love to be strong women (which we should be), the most motivating thing to me is when my husband acts like the man of the house in the most loving way possible.
