Do you break the rules?

I mean little rules out of necessity. Like if you are a woman, have you ever used the mens bathroom, because you had to go so bad and the womans bathroom was too full? Or did you sneak into the express lane with more then 10 items, because you are in a hurry? Punch in from lunch at work and go sit back down, because you are having a rough day?
So did you ever break those little rules and if you did, did you feel bad about it?
I know I break the little rules now and then ;)

I break small rules all the time, and as long as my action doen´t bring harm to anyone else I see nothing wrong with it. After all - rules are made to be broken *lol*

Yes, Riptide, I have used the men's restrooms when the women's restrooms were too crowded or too filthy.
At my church sometimes, especially on Sundays the ushers let the women into the men's restrooms when it's too crowded.
When the store is too crowded and I have more then ten or twelve idems, I'll take out some items and get into the express line to prevent having to stand in line too long. Especially if the weather is hot and I have a carton of ice cream in my cart and I don't want it to melt.

I avoid it whenever possible. I don't break little rules like going in the express lane with extra items, etc, because that could inconvenience others. I have, however, used the men's washroom when there were no guys in there.

I break lot of rule as if rules are meant to be broken lol.
In my school once I bunked my chemistry class form the back of my teacher, cause I wanted to attend the music class that to be held on that very hour.
I am a BIG music freak.
Also once I misplaced the wallet of one of friend( just playing) in school she was about to cry.!!
Rules.!!...never came on time in my regular subject classes after the recess!!
And etc..etc..there are many can write a whole book on it lol..!!
seriously to ME RULES are meant to be broken but small ones.
That is why I love being under rules if no rules then what to break.
Theres a kind of evil happiness comes in breaking rules.!! really
have a nice day.

yes i break the rules too especially when the circumstance calls for it. sometimes though i end up breaking the same rule often that i don't feel guilty about doing it anymore. for instance i punch iin early after our lunch break but don't get to work, i just slack off for about 20 minutes. since i've gotten used to it i don't feel bad about it anymore. but now my supervisor noticed and he asked me not to do it so i don't do it anymore. for using men's washroom, i don't feel bad about it at all as long as no one catches me in the act.

I don't think that I broke any little rules, as far as I remember. I always count the items before going for the express lane, Oh wait, sometimes I cross the street on red light when there are no cars. Shame on me.

Rules are meant to be broken goes a famous line. While I don't subscribe to it at face value, I do believe that rules need not be followed at all times and sometimes, blindly following rules can even be harmful. If you feel that your reason is important enough to justify breaking some rule, than you could go ahead and do it. For instance, if you are taking a pregnant woman going into labour, it hardly matters if you jump a signal or two and exceed the speed limit. The point is, you need to use your discretion when you go about breaking rules. Respect them most of the times, but don't worry about breaking them if the reason justifies it.

Years ago, I was hired by a cosmetic company to work at a booth at a trade show for hair and cosmetic products. I left my booth to go to the ladies' room only to find the line was literally a block long. I noticed there was no line for the mens' room and having to pee very badly I left the line and walked in to the mens' room only to find to men dressed as women primping themselves in front of the mirrors. I asked them if they minded me using the mens' room as I had to go very badly. They said "no problem girlfriend". I didn't feel bad about it because I would have wet my pants had I not done this which would have made me feel much worse.

I must admit I have broken a lot of rules over the years, mostly because I do what I believe to be right. I have gone into the ladies when the gents was out of order too. I think that rules are made to be broken at times.

I havent snuck more than the number in, wait once I did 11 not 10. Its not that bad, but actually the lady said it was okay. I said are you sure? Its more than 10 its 11 and she said fine. I am sure its not THAT bad one over.
I have used the mens room just once, it was at our church the girls a bunch from the church had this over night thing. In the fellowship hall the line was so long for the tiny bathroom so we went in the mens room too. *L* My first and last ever time :))
Oh I do recall going to the restroom at work after I had punched back in. Didnt have time for it.
So I do break rules on occasion. Dont we all? Unless you are a RULE person. Those are the type who dont break the rules EVER. Not me!

Sometime breaking some little rule out of necessity is well... necessary. Everyone at some point in time has broken some little rule. Almost everyone will at some point in time feel bad or guilty for doing it. It is the nature of mankind. We Live, We Screw Up, We Learn, We Figure Out Something Else To Screw Up, We Learn Some More......
