I just sat through the first fifteen minutes of AI and I can't believe that Sanjaya is still in. I can't be bothered to watch anymore. So I am on myLot instead...the three people on tonight's bottom three (Phil, Haley and Chris) all sang better than Sanjaya, so what gives? I guess AI is not a talent show after all...and if it is true that the results can be skewed by people who can be led by the nose to vote for someone just because they want to spite the system, why not just "throw the fight?" How come the AI executives are letting this farce go on? I can't believe Christ Sligh is out! He has a good voice and stage presence. I really thought that he would be the poster boy for us Pudgies. I am SO disappointed! Anybody out there with any suggestions on how to stop the insanity???!!!

it really is a sad commentary on how people are so easily led, isn't it? why do some people take something that is so much fun (guessing who will be left standing after each Tuesday's performance WAS fun!)and turn it into something twisted? Is it just to prove that bloc voting (as dictated by some people who fancy themselves as power brokers) can skew the results--damn what the rest of the fans feel?

If America doesn't vote off Sanjaya, the most likely to go was Chris Sligh. But still, he was way better than Sanjaya. And sanjaya not in the bottom three, come on! Phil was so much better than him.

I am sorry to say but Sanjaya is STILL on--they sent Chris home. I have to say, America has NO taste in music and I'm beginning to see some sort of voting problem issue will come up (I mean heck, this is from the country that had to recount Florida's votes two Presidential elections in a row!) I'm hoping that Tony's Bennett's music next week does him in!

I'm totally in agreement with you, scorpiobabes! Sometimes you wonder whether these scenarios are allowed in order to provoke controversy, to make the viewers tune in just to see if...the ratings DO go up when there's a cliffhanger, right?

GGGRRR!!! i am so mad! they sent chris home and sanjaya is still there! they need to put an age limit on the votes or let the judges make the choice between the bottom three. i am sure sanjaya would be gone. someone needs to step in and fix this its crazy. the way its going sanjayas gonna win this thing. crazy! gggrrr

You actually have two very good suggestions here, Aretha: put an age limit on the votes (how do you monitor this, though?)and let the judges make a professional decision. This is an excellent way to even out the bias--look at the way "Dancing with the Stars" contestants are eliminated. The judges AND the viewers are combined for the final decision every step of the way.
