Do you go through each and every post in a discussion that you've started even if it is a very popular one and the number of posts go up in hundreds? Do you take out that much time to navigate through all the pages and read what everyone has to say?

Depends...most posts on here don't generate many responses. The ones that get double-digit responses, I'll try to look through most of them and get a feeling for the different opinions and see how they correlate or differ from mine.

Yes, I try to read each and everyone and respond to as many as possible. When I am bored with answering posts, I go through and answer a few of my discussion posts that I haven't gotten to yet. I figure, if somebody took the time to post a reply, then they deserve to have the reply read.

I totally agree. If somebody takes time out to post, then they certainly deserve to have the reply read and rated or commented as well if it deserves that. Looking at everyones response, i guess everyone does read or atleast tries to read all the reponses.

Yes, if it is my own discussion, I will try my hardest to read each response. Not only that, I will respond back. The only time I don't respond back is when I truly don't have anything to say to that person, or the discussion has gotten very negative and I don't want to participate any longer. But, that would be very unusual.

Exactly. I feel that too.. There are many cases when i dont really know what to write back, but still feel inclined to do comment on every response that i've got so that nobody feels left out.

I do and I also rate each discussion contribution.
I try to avoid a negative rating, and have only given 2 so far. But if people respond, I read the responses and I also responds back to many,.

yes i go through every post or discussion that i've started to read their thoughts they impart on the topic as well as to thank them for the appreciation they have shown over the it. Whenever i join in a discussion i always read the responses of mylotters before i post my own. if it had already a hundred post i'll not join anymore. i'll look for another topic which is similar to it.

Hi there! Yes I try to read and respond to each and every post that I get in my discussions. I think that is the polite thing to do even though myLot says not to do it! Unfortunately my discussions aren't that popular that the posts reach the hundreds! lol

Yes, i guess it does seem the most polite thing to do. However, it is quite a task as i dont like responding with thanks for posting messages, and some of the responses arent exactly those which seem to be expecting any comments..if you know what i mean.

So far I'm reading and rating everything, the most responses any of my discussions has got was 18, so it wasn't a hard task at all, most of my discussions get much less than that so i always read and rate all and comment on some of it when needed. I'm not sure about getting hundreds of responses, i guess i will still be reading it all but it didn't happen yet :)

I ALWAYS read every post made to my discussions and feel that if they took the time to respond then I should take the time to read it after all that is what a discussion is....each person taking turns presenting their opinion of a topic. I read each day so I am able to keep up with the discussion, as it occurs; I also attempt to comment on responses that touch me as well. I even check to see if the responses that I made warranted a comment from the original mylotian. I also read the discussions started by my friends, then "new discussions" if I am going to spend more time here....it may not be profitable to spend time reading responses....but I joined this "community" for many other reasons that the profitablitiy of it....although I guess it is a plus..LOL

I do agree with you. Even if mylot suddenly decides that they are not going to pay out for discussions, i will still be among those who participate.

Thank you Greg, for awarding me with "best response", I am still new here but I always try to actually add to the discussion if I respond and to think about what I say, then give my heart felt opinion. I appreciate your kind words. Best of luck to you.
