why some PEOPLE are WEIRD ???

The term WEIRD depends on the person idea of WEIRD. Each individual has their own likes and dislikes in things, work, place, people and personalities. When we meet people who does not like what we like or people who do not do what we do, we conclude that they are WEIRD to our opinion. When they do not meet the expectations we have for the people we meet, it seems difficult to get along with them as well. Remember everyone has their own perceptions, idea, opinions and knowledge. Example: The phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." A statement that emphasize that beauty depends on the one who is looking. There are times we ask ourselves... How did he/she liked that person when you think otherwise. Or why is it that when one man looks at a woman "some thinks he's/she's pretty but to others he/she just have an ordinary face" Several reason why you/I think a person is weird is when they grew up in a different environment, how they were trained by their parents, social life they have and their belief as well. Example to some Fruitarian is weird but to the fruitarian the carnivore is weird... its mostly base on each ones PERCEPTION...

Its we who define normal and weired. and definition varies according to the society we live in. try sending michael jackson or all those from wwf back to seventeenth century they would be termed as abnormal and weired. May be you or me too. If the people then will see us talking in to our cellphones they would call us witches and switiching on alight bulb would be an act of wizardry. remember when bulb was first built and used in room. the rooms used to have a cautionary warning posted on the door "This room is equipped with a Thoma Edison bulb. You should not light a lamp in this room. Press this switch(with a marked red arrow) for lighting the bulb." It sounds weired now but it was not weired then. Got my point?

Because in their world it's normal and your world is proberly weird to them.

Weird means something to everyone. What I may find weird and or strange someone else may not. Everyone is different based on the personality they were born with, the way they were raised, their experiences growing up, and many other issues. Based on that we have different ideas and goals, hobbies, and who we like or don't like to do. Many people then will meet someone who has complete differences, or they seem different but then are classified as weird. But guess what, they are then thinking you are weird too. It works both ways. So just because someone is different we should be looking at what are their good qualities. Eventually you will find one that you both share. As the saying goes, "don't judge a book by its cover"

it is simply because every individual is unique
